Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a pillow case with multiple enclosures. In some embodiments, a pillow case comprises a first enclosure that comprises a first edge and a second edge, and a second enclosure that comprises a first edge and a second edge. The first edge of the first enclosure is hinged to the first edge of the second enclosure via a first hinged connection. Additionally, both the first and second enclosures receive pillow-filling material.

Abstract: The present invention provides a pillow having raised ribs which are angled at an acute angle with respect to a bottom surface of the pillow and define the upper surface of the pillow contacted by the user's head and neck. The angled ribs provide traction forces to the head and neck of the user. The ribs vary in thickness in the longitudinal direction along which a person's spine is oriented. The pillow preferably has a rear portion for supporting a person's head and a front portion for supporting a person's neck, and the ribs on the rear portion are upwardly inclined toward the rear edge of the pillow and the ribs on the front portion are upwardly inclined toward the front edge of the pillow, so that traction forces on the head and neck are exerted in opposite directions.
Abstract: The present invention provides a pillow with an insert and lobe of sufficient curvature to enable the user to obtain the intended firmness effects. The pillow includes a compressible and resilient body having a top portion and a bottom portion and a rounded lobe which upwardly protrudes from the bottom portion. Formed within the lobe is an opening which has an insert shaped and dimensioned for snug contact therein. The radius of curvature of the opening is at least 60% of the radius of curvature of the lobe. Inserts of varying compressibility, texture, and contour may be employed in single or multiple openings. Additionally, the pillow may be reversible, offering the user increased versatility.
