Patents Assigned to Banyaszati Kutato Intezet
  • Patent number: 4361414
Abstract: The invention relates to an equipment for the delivery of slurries and for their refinement during delivery, which has a housing provided with axial inlet opening and tangential discharge opening, furthermore a disc-shaped stationary part in the housing with a concentric opening adjoining the inlet opening, and disc-shaped rotary part arranged opposite the stationary part. Rods are concentrically arranged according to the invention alternately on the stationary part and rotary part in such a way, that the rods of the stationary part point toward the rotary part, and the rods of the rotary part point toward the stationary part, and the rotary part has a jacket surrounding the rods arranged along the largest diameter circle of the stationary part, said jacket being perforated with holes in radial direction.

  • Patent number: 4149466
Abstract: An explosive device comprises an explosive charge and an initiator, the initiator having a discharge lamp optically coupled with said explosive charge and connected to a voltage source via a first switch. According to the invention said discharge lamp has a series resistor shunted via a second switch which is open before and closed when the explosive charge is initiated. The glow discharge evoked through said series resistor cannot initiate the explosive charge, but it shortens the time delay of the avalanche discharge and makes it independent of the stochastic natural ionization.

  • Patent number: 4134034
Abstract: In combustion fired magnetohydrodynamic power systems conventional fuels such as coal, oil, natural gas and the like are first completely burned, and then shock waves are generated in the combustion products by means of small amounts of explosives which are preferably initiated by pulsed lasers. Thus, highly ionized particles of great flow velocities are obtained which are supplied into a usual MHD generator to induce a ripple current in a load circuit at high efficiency.

  • Patent number: 4113287
Abstract: End fitting or armature for multi-channel hoses having a positioning plate and a guiding plate extending perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the hose and apertured to receive hose coupling elements. Means are provided for varying the axial spacing of the plates. A resilient element is disposed between the plates, a part of which seats in a groove formed in the internal surface of the end fitting when the plates are pulled towards each other under load.

  • Patent number: 4051718
Abstract: The invention concerns apparatus for measuring the velocity of low frequency mechanical vibrations, comprising two springs between which a vibratable mass is secured, two electric coils mechanically coupled to the mass, a permanent magnet core in each coil which is stationary relative to its associated coil, one coil being a measuring coil while the other is a feedback coil; and a current generator having a control input to which the measuring coil is connected while the feedback coil is connected to the generator output, the connection polarities being so selected as to produce negative feedback.

  • Patent number: 4048803
Abstract: The invention concerns an advanceable shield support assembly for longwall mining. The assembly has a pivotable main roof cap housing a retractable and extensible auxiliary roof cap. Normally the main roof cap supports the roof and the auxiliary one is retracted. However, before the assembly is advanced, the auxiliary roof cap is extended to support the roof section between the working face and the front edge of the main roof cap. The movement of the auxiliary roof cap, and the force with which it engages the roof section, are controlled by cooperating guide tracks and track-engaging elements capable of exerting a wedging action.
