Abstract: A frozen beverage dispenser for use with a liquid/ice slurry machine which freezes a liquid to form a slurry and continuously circulates the slurry through the machine for maintaining the slurry in the desired state. The dispenser includes a nozzle connected to the machine by a flexible line having concentric inner and outer tubes, with the slurry being continuously circulated through the line between the machine and the nozzle. The nozzle has a flow path therethrough with the line connected at one end of the flow path and with a valve for controlling flow out the other end, and a bypass passage between the inner and outer tubes for return flow of the slurry when the valve is closed.
Abstract: A valve for control of fluid flow, the valve including a housing having a valve bore with inlet and outlet ports, a seal cartridge slidingly inserted into the bore and having integrally formed seal rings, in sealing engagement with the bore, and a valve spindle carried in the seal cartridge in sealing engagement with the seal rings with the spindle moveable between valve closed and open positions. A valve having two inlet ports and an outlet port with the seal cartridge being selectively positionable in the housing for controlling flow from a selected one of the inlet ports to the outlet port.
Abstract: A touch faucet post-mix drink dispensing system for simultaneous dispensing of syrup and soda with a single valve chamber and two poppets in tandem. The poppets are spaced for positive seating and sequential opening of the soda and syrup flow paths with a single motion of the actuating lever resulting in a reduction of the required actuating force and thereby less load on the drink cup and reduced likelihood of damage to the cup.
Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing measured amounts of liquor from a liquor source under pressure. The apparatus includes a hand held nozzle with a thumb operated plunger valve and with the nozzle connected to the liquor source and a source of gas under pressure via a control valve and a liquor storage cylinder. Manual actuation of the dispenser valve on the nozzle controls the control valve which in turn actuates the storage cylinder to dispense the metered amount of liquor, with the storage cylinder being powered by the liquor source and with the control valve being powered by the gas source.
