Abstract: The present invention relates to image projection and provides a method and system for performing color calibration of light sources and correction towards a color target, for example a whitepoint target. The calibration and correction considers the ambient temperature and that the projector output has an arbitrary dimming level. The correction can be made automatic and can be performed by an operator in the field by pressing a button.

Abstract: A projector system includes a monitor that measures irradiance of projected light. The monitor direct light from a light source that is sampled in an optical path of the projector onto a sensor. The detector also receives light from a calibration light source. A processor is configured to process an output signal of the sensor to determine irradiance of the projected light. The processing may comprise applying a colour transform and lumped coefficients. The projector system may be configured to take corrective action if the monitored irradiance exceeds a threshold. One application of the disclosed apparatus and methods is improving safety.

Abstract: A display tile includes a display board and a carrier board, the carrier board being for attachment to a frame or a bracket, the display board and the carrier board being fastened together by the intermediary of a spacer positioned between the display board and the carrier board. The spacer is glue or adhesive. The adhesive forms the spacer itself. The spacer can engage in an opening in the carrier board. The display board has image forming elements and the spacer is for setting a relative position of the tops of the image forming elements with respect to the carrier board.

Abstract: A system and method for connecting a processing device to a functional device connected to or in a base unit of a wireless connection. The system includes the base unit, a functional device connected to or in the base unit, and the processing device having a memory, a display device, an operating system, a third-party software for a UC call, and having a driver and/or a client software which are/is configured to have the processing device interact directly with the base unit over a wireless connection. The base unit is configured to transmit data over the wireless connection to the processing device, and the driver and/or the client software are/is configured to present the functional device to the operating system of the processing device as a virtual functional device, and the third-party software for the UC call is presented with the virtual functional device for the UC call.

Abstract: A driver circuit for driving a matrix of N×M pixels of a light emitting module. Each pixel is composed of at least three types of light emitting elements. The light emitting elements are driven by a modulation control signal. The driver circuit is embedded in a TFT layer. It is configured to cooperate with N multiplexers provided in an external driver circuit, each multiplexer being configured to drive one line of M pixels. It is also configured to cooperate with one external current source per type of light emitting element, each external current source being mirrored M times on the matrix of the driver circuit and being arranged in series with a signal switch for generating the control signal provided for each of the M columns.

Abstract: An electronic meeting tool and method for communicating arbitrary media content from users at a meeting includes a node configuration adapted to operate a display node of a communications network, the display node being coupled to a first display. The node configuration is adapted to receive user selected arbitrary media content and to control display of the user selected arbitrary media content on the first display. A peripheral device adapted to communicate the user selected arbitrary media content via the communications network is a connection unit including a connector adapted to couple to a port of a processing device having a second display, a memory and an operating system, and a transmitter. A program is adapted to obtain user selected arbitrary media content, the program leaving a zero footprint on termination. The user may trigger a transfer of the user selected arbitrary media content to the transmitter.

Abstract: A solid state die such as an LED (or OLED) die that is fitted in a hole such as a through hole in a carrier substrate such as a PCB. The die is to be connected to the PCB e.g. to tracks on the PCB. The electrical contacts on the die are arranged to be (e.g. substantially) in the same plane as the contacts on the carrier substrate such as the PCB. This is achieved by the holes in the substrate such as the PCB being adapted so that the dies fit into the holes or openings, i.e. are each taken up into an opening before electrical contacts are made.

Abstract: Systems and methods for mediating an audio source during a meeting are provided. An active audio source is identified and mapped to instances connected to a communications and collaboration platform to determine a mapped instance. An audio signal device is determined from multiple devices for capturing audio from the active audio source. An audio system is configured to manipulate an active audio signal from the audio signal device via the mapped instance. In some cases, upon identifying a new active audio source, a new mapped instance is determined corresponding to the new active audio source.

Abstract: A first peripheral device for making a functional device available to a processing device. The first peripheral device is configured to expose at least one fixed or configurable endpoint and to receive first processed video data. Abstract: A method, device and system for providing user-centric connections to a location comprising digital collaboration tools, as well as software for carrying out the method. The method includes a network device having a beacon system for proximity detection and a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). A confirmed BYOD proximity can be used to initiate the setup of a data channel between the network device and the BYOD, and further join the BYOD to a UC (Unified Communications systems and tools) session.

The first backplane includes a thin film transistor (TFT) layer deposited on a first substrate, the TFT layer further including a plurality of light emitting elements, associated contact pads and conducting tracks. The third backplane is provided on top of the light emitting elements, includes cavities at the locations of the light emitting elements and includes at least a ground layer and a power layer. The upper and lower layers of the third backplane are provided by alternatively the ground layer and the power layer for contacting the light emitting elements.

The side of the substrate opposing the light sources faces a black surface of an enclosure. A layer having a second visible optical reflectance is disposed on the substrate on the side of the light sources. The layer has an acoustical transparency attenuation of at most ?10 dB, and when in normal light conditions the difference between the visible optical reflectance of the layer and that of the perforations is lower than the difference between visible optical reflectance of the substrate and that of the perforation.
