  • Patent number: 11755031
Abstract: An automated guided vehicle system including at least one automated guided vehicle (AGV) for following predetermined magnetic paths on a ground surface to carry cargo to selected points on the paths. The AGV includes a chassis, top plate mounted on the chassis for receipt of cargo, a pair of driving wheels coupled to driving motors, and plural passive omni-wheels. Control and navigation circuitry is provided to operate the motors to drive the driving wheels to cause the AGV to follow a desired one of the paths. The AGV provides illumination indicating its direction of travel and status. It also includes laser scanners for obstacle detection.

  • Patent number: 10331992
Abstract: Disclosed are methods, devices, and other implementations, including a radio frequency identification (RFID) device that includes a sheet comprising a middle strip section separable from a remainder of the sheet, and two side strips flanking the separable middle strip section, with the middle strip section including an attachment structure. The RFID device further includes a radio frequency circuit configured to receive RF transmissions and to transmit reply RF signals. The middle strip section is initially attached to the two side strips in a non-separated configuration, and is configured to be partly separated from the two side strips flanking the middle strip section, and to be attached to at least one of the two side strips at a corresponding at least one attachment point such that the middle strip section, when attached, protrudes relative to a plane defined by the remainder of the sheet to form an arched structure.

  • Patent number: 8648716
Abstract: A system for identifying medication in the form of pills, capsules or tablets, and communicating medicine dosage and intake instructions to a user, utilizing Radio Frequency Identification Devices (RFID) and optical recognition technology. The RFID is performed by labeling a medicine container with a tag containing a unique identifier, associating the unique identifier with an audio file comprising instructions related to medicine usage, and delivering the audio file to an electromagnetic wave-enabled device. A wireless device, such as a mobile telephone or PDA, via a service, plays an audio and/or vibrational file associated with the unique identifier when the RFID tag is read by the device. The mobile device has a camera therein and is operable to capture an image of the pill, capsule or tablet and, via execution of optical recognition software, identify the pill, tablet or capsule, and verify the identity thereof.
