Patents Assigned to Barnstorfer Kunststofftechnik GmbH & Co. KG
  • Patent number: 11231188
Abstract: Trickle bodies for the air conditioning of, in particular, animal housings, that possess only partially latticed layer elements. Trickle bodies are formed of a plurality of sandwiched layer elements that, in known trickle bodies, are formed of corrugated and completely latticed plastics foil. The trickle bodies formed of such layer elements possess a relatively low stability and a limited evaporation capacity. The plastics-formed layer elements of the instant invention are produced by injection molding, allowing layer elements having corrugation heights of more than 12 mm to be formed. Such trickle bodies are more stable, enable a high evaporation capacity and are, moreover, also less permeable to light.

  • Patent number: 10955152
Abstract: In devices for air-conditioning stalls having evaporation members which can be supplied with fluid by means of spray pipes which are arranged thereabove, the deflectors are provided above the spray pipes, which deflectors have to be removed for cleaning purposes and temporarily stored elsewhere, which is complex and can lead to damage to the deflectors. The disclosed device for air-conditioning stalls has a provision for deflectors to have hinge connections to retention members. The deflectors can thereby be pivoted upwards in order to clean spray pipes without the deflectors having to be completely removed from the retention members.

  • Publication number: 20180116174
Abstract: Drip cups used in animal drinkers for beaked animals feature a cup body made of plastic material for accommodating a supply of water. The cup body has a bottom surrounded by an edging. Experience has shown that beaked animals cause damage to the plastics material of cup body with their beaks. Such damage by pecking can even cause the bottom, and thus the drip cup itself, to leak water. The invention proposes to position a graduated metal insert centered in the inside bottom of the cup body. The insert thereby reinforces the bottom of the cup body such that beaked animals are no longer capable of damaging the drip cup.

  • Publication number: 20170290305
Abstract: An animal drinker with a drip cup where the cup bodies are provided on the inside at least in part with a structuring. The structuring is created as a result of a coating of the inside surface of the cup body, as a result of which said inside surface is protected from damage caused by the sharp beaks of the animals. In addition, it is designed to provide the structuring with a roughened surface which serves as an abrasive material on which the animals are able to grind down their beaks. Animal drinkers have drip cups produced from plastics material. In the case of animal drinkers for poultry, the plastics material of the cup body is exposed to damage caused by the beaks of the poultry. Over and above this, poultry have to take care of their beaks regularly by grinding down their beaks.
