Abstract: A process for preparing pesticides or pesticidal intermediates, particularly 5-amino-1 aryl-3-cyanopyrazoles, having the formula said process comprising reacting a compound having the formula with a cyanide salt.
Abstract: The invention concerns insecticide compositions comprising: (a) between 0.001 and 5%, preferably between 0.05 and 1% of a compound of the type 1-phenyl pyrazole, in particular 1-[2,6-Cl24-CF3 phenyl]3-CN 4-[SO—CF3]5-NH2 pyrazole; and (b) between 0.05 and 10%, preferably between 0.1 and 5% of one (or several) moisture retaining agent of the organic type; and (c) between 40 and 99%, preferably between 50 and 98% (and more preferably between 70 and 97%) of vegetable flour. The invention also concerns a method for fighting insects using said compositions, in particular against click beetles.
Abstract: A process for the preparation of a compound of formula (I) comprising oxidizing a compound of formula (II) with trifluoroperacetic acid in the presence of a corrosion inhibiting compound such as boric acid. Also, a process for preparing a compound of formula (II) by adding sulfur dioxide to a mixture of the corresponding disulfide, a formate salt, trifluoromethyl bromide and a polar solvent; and a process for preparing the disulfide comprising adding S2Cl2 to a solution, in an organic solvent, of the corresponding 4-unsubstituted pyrazole.
Abstract: The invention concerns insecticide compositions comprising: a) between 0.001 and 5 %, preferable between 0.05 and 1% of a compound of the type 1-phenyl pyrazole, in particular 1-[2,6-Cl24-CF3 phenyl]3-CN4[SO—CF3]5-NH2 pyrazole ; and b) between 0.05 and 10%, preferably between 0.1 and 5% of one (or several) moisture retaining agent of the organic type; and c) between 40 and 99%, preferably between 50 and 98% (and more preferably between 70 and 97%) of vegetable flour. The invention also concerns a method for fighting insects using said composition, in particular against click beetles.
Abstract: Insecticidal compositions comprising:
a) between 0.001 and 5%, preferably between 0.05 and 0.5%, of a solid compound of 1-phenylpyrazole type, in particular 1-[2,6-Cl2-4-CF3-phenyl]-3-CN 4-[SO—CF3]-5-NH2 pyrazole; and
b) between 0.05 and 10%, preferably between 0.1 and 5%, of a thickener; and
c) between 5 and 50%, preferably between 10 and 40%, of propylene glycol, the compound of formula (I) being in the dissolved state in the said propylene glycol.
Method for controlling insects using this composition, in particular for controlling ants.
