Abstract: A fungicidal mixture, comprising
a) a carbamate of the formula I,
where T is CH or N, n is 0, 1 or 2 and R is halogen, C1-C4-alkyl or C1-C4-haloalkyl, and where the radicals R may be different if n is 2, and
b) an active compund of the formula II,
where:
Y is hydrogen, a metal atom of the 1st to 3rd main group of the Periodic Table of the Elements or a group NR3R4R5R6;
R2 is hydrogen, a C1-C18-alkyl group which may be substituted by halogen or a nitro group, a C2-C8-alkenyl or C2-C8-alkinyl group which may be substituted by halogen or a nitro group, a C1-C8-alkoxy-C1-C8-alkyl or a C2-C8-alkenyl-C1-C8-alkyl group, an unsubstituted or substituted aryl group having 6 to 14 carbons, a C3-C7-cycloalkyl group, a C1-C4-alkylaryl group or a heterocyclic group having 5 or 6 ring atoms and a hetero atom from the group consisting of N, O and S, where the heterocyclic group is attached directly or via an aliphatic chain to the oxygen atom, and
R3-R6 independently of one anot

Abstract: A block copolymer obtainable by reacting
A) monomers selected from the group consisting of styrene, &agr;-methylstyrene, acrylonitrile, methacrylonitrile, methyl methacrylate and maleic anhydride to form blocks A having a glass transition temperature Tg of more than 0° C. and
B) monomers selected from the group consisting of n-butyl acrylate, methyl acrylate and 2-ethylhexyl acrylate to form blocks B having a glass transition temperature Tg of less than 0° C.
at from 100 to 160° C. in the presence of free-radical initiators and N-oxyl radicals.
Abstract: In a process for preparing oxidation products of cyclohexane by catalytic oxidation with oxygen-containing gases in the liquid phase, where the gases are brought into contact essentially uniformly with the liquid cyclohexane in a reaction zone, liquid cyclohexane and the oxygen-containing gases are passed in countercurrent through the reaction zone.

Abstract: A process for the preparation of polyalcohols comprises the stages:(a) Reaction of an alkanal or ketone with formaldehyde in aqueous solution in the presence of a tertiary amine, to form a formates containing polyalcohol product mixture,(b) removal of water, excess tertiary amine, excess formaldehyde(c) heating of remaining mixture from (b) with removal of further formaldehyde and tertiary amine with formation of the formates of the polyalcohol,(d) transfer of tertiary amine removed from stage (b) and/or from stage (c), to synthesis stage (a) and/or to the subsequent transesterification stage (e),(e) transesterification of the resulting formates of the polyalcohol from stage (c) with an alcohol of the formula ROH in the presence of a transesterification catalyst to give polyalcohols and formates of the formula ##STR1## where R is a hydrocarbon radical, preferably alkyl of 1-6, particularly preferably 1-2, carbon atoms, and(f) isolation of the polyalcohols.

Abstract: Nitrobenzene or a nitrobenzene substituted on the nucleus is subjected to reductive coupling to give the corresponding azobenzene and azoxybenzene under heterogeneous catalysis with substantial avoidance of overreduction to aniline derivatives by means of a redox catalyst in its reduced or partly reduced form, the redox catalyst containing at least one active metal component capable of a change of oxidation state.
