  • Publication number: 20080171195
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for applying integrated pretreatment layers having a thickness of 1 to 25 ?m to metallic surfaces, particularly the surfaces of coil metals, by treatment with a composition comprising at least one binder, crosslinker, a finely divided inorganic filler, and a dicarboxylic acid-olefin copolymer. It also relates to shaped metallic articles provided with an integrated pretreatment layer of this kind, and to a formulation for implementing the process.

  • Publication number: 20060243584
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of avoiding corrosion in the separation of methylamine from a product stream (10) which is obtained in the preparation of methylamines by gas-phase reaction of methanol and ammonia and comprises monomethylamine, dimethylamine, trimethylamine, ammonia and methanol as components, where ammonia is separated off by pure distillation in a first column (1), the remaining components of the product stream obtained as bottoms (12) are fed to a second column (2). Trimethylamine (14) is separated off in the second column (2) by extractive distillation with introduction of water. The further components of the product stream obtained as bottoms (15) from the second column (2) are fed to a third column (3), in which monomethylamine and dimethylamine are separated off at the top. The monomethylamine and dimethylamine are separated by distillation in a fourth column (4). To avoid corrosion alkali metal hydroxide is added to the second or third column (3).

  • Patent number: 6612555
Abstract: The invention relates to a bearing unit (1) for receiving add-on parts and vehicle components on supporting parts of vehicles. The bearing unit (1) comprises at least one elastically deformable elastomeric component (3, 13) which is supported on a support (9). The support (9) has received elastomeric spring components (3, 13; 17, 18, 19, 20), not connected to one another.

  • Patent number: 6563007
Abstract: Polyetherols based on solid initiator substances and liquid, hydroxyl-containing coinitiators are prepared by a catalyzed addition reaction of alkylene oxides by a process in which the initiator combination contains diols carrying ethoxy structures, the ratio of the average number of hydroxyl groups per mole of initiator combination to the number of ethoxy structures in the polyetherol being from 1:0.2 to 1:1.8 and the ratio of the amounts by weight of the diols carrying ethoxy structures to the average molecular weight of the polyetherol being from 1:2 to 1:15. The polyetherols prepared by this process are used for the preparation of PUR, in particular, rigid PUR foams.
