Abstract: Two-part aqueous coating compositions as well as methods of using thereof are described. The first coating component can comprise one or more polymers and the second coating component can comprise a flocculant. The first coating component and the second coating component can be provided as separate aqueous compositions. The first coating component and a second coating component that can be co-applied (e.g., simultaneously or sequentially) to a surface form a rapid set coating.

Abstract: A solid block, controlled release composition suitable for use in toilet tanks, urinals and other water systems has an alkanolamide, surfactant and polyethylene glycol with a molecular weight of about 1450 to about 8000.
Abstract: The present invention provides an antifreeze/coolant additive comprising polymeric polycarboxylates which reduces the corrosion rate of heat rejecting aluminum, and is effective at relatively low concentrations.

Abstract: An aqueous laundry prewash stain remover composition has on a weight basis 0.1 to 20% of at least one chelating agent from the group of citric acid, tartaric acid, ethylene diamine tetracetic acid, isoserine diacetic acid and Beta-alanine diacetic acid; 0.1 to 40% of nonylphenol ethoxylate; 0.1 to 10% of propoxylated ethylenediamine known as N,N,N',N'-tetrakis (2-hydroxypropyl) ethylenediamine; 0.1 to 5% of alpha-olefin epoxide modified polyether thickener; with the remainder of the composition being water. The composition provides enhanced stain removal on both oil and water-borne stains on a variety of fabrics. These formulations are solvent free, freeze/thaw stable, and do not precipitate on standing at room temperature.

The composition provides enhanced stain removal on both oil and water-borne stains on a variety of fabrics. These formulations are solvent free, freeze/thaw stable, and do not precipitate on standing at room temperature.
Abstract: A stable, aqueous pesticide dispersion composition comprising:(a) a water insoluble pesticide;(b) a polyoxyalkylene copolymer having surface active properties, said copolymer having the formulaY[(EO,PO).sub.m (PO).sub.n (EO,PO).sub.m, H].sub.xwherein Y is the nucleus of an organic reactive hydrogen compound having x reactive hydrogen atoms and up to 6 carbon atoms, x is an integer, EO is ethylene oxide, PO is a propylene oxide hydrophobe having an oxygen/carbon ratio of not more than 0.40, (EO,PO) represents a hydrophilic heteric block having an oxygen/carbon ratio of more than 0.
Abstract: Dispersions of organic pigments are produced by adding a surfactant to an aqueous slurry of an organic pigment followed by subjecting the slurry to ultrasonic radiation. The surfactant utilized is one or more of the surfactants selected from the group consisting of: various specific acidic or quaternary salts of alkyl substituted propanediamines, and derivatives thereof, as well as a poly(ethyleneoxide) ether of an 18 carbon alcohol having 9 units of ethylene oxide thereon.
Abstract: High strength, highly transparent azo pigments have mean ultimate particle size of from 0.010 micron to 0.040 micron. These pigments are produced by a process in which the azo compound is reacted with a coupler in the presence of one or more of a specific group of surface active agents.
Abstract: A polyhalogenated pigment crude is combined with a heterocyclic organic liquid in which the pigment is only "slightly stable", and the resulting mixture is mixed under high shear conditions to produce a pigmentary product.
