Patents Assigned to BASF SE (Ellwanger & Baier Patentanwälte)
  • Patent number: 11787093
Abstract: The present invention relates to a tool (W) having at least one first inlet opening (E1) and at least one second inlet opening (E2), and also at least one first outlet opening (A1), at least one second outlet opening (A2) and at least one third outlet opening (A3), wherein the second outlet opening (A2) and the third outlet opening (A3) alternate with the first outlet opening (A1). The present invention further relates to a process for producing a fiber/foam composite by extruding through the tool (W) and to the use of the tool (W) for production of a fiber/foam composite by extrusion.

  • Patent number: 11697716
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for producing a polyamide powder (PP) comprising at least one semicrystalline polyamide (P) and at least one additive (A). The semicrystalline polyamide (P) and the at least one additive (A) are initially compounded with one another in an extruder and subsequently introduced into a solvent (SV) in which the at least one semicrystalline polyamide (P) then crystallizes to obtain the polyamide powder (PP). The present invention further relates to the thus obtainable polyamide powder (PP) and to the use of the polyamide powder (PP) as sintering powder (SP) and also to a process for producing a shaped body by selective laser sintering of a polyamide powder (PP).

  • Patent number: 10232556
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the production of at least two-layer thermoplastic sheets via thermal welding of at least one thinner thermoplastic sheet with density (D1) and of at least one second thinner thermoplastic sheet with density (D2), where the density (D1) of the first thinner thermoplastic sheet is smaller than the density (D2) of the second thinner thermoplastic sheet. The process introduces at least one first heating element and at least one second heating element along mutually offset planes between the two thinner thermoplastic sheets, where the surfaces of the thinner thermoplastic sheets do not touch the surfaces of the heating elements. The first heating element transfers a quantity of energy (E1) to the surface of the first thinner thermoplastic sheet, and the second heating element transfers a quantity of energy (E2) to the surface of the second thinner thermoplastic sheet, where the quantity of energy (E1) is smaller than the quantity of energy (E2).

  • Patent number: 9822067
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for purifying adiponitrile (ADN), wherein crude ADN is introduced into a rectification apparatus (R1). The rectification apparatus (R1) comprises a first side draw and preferably also a second side draw, the first side draw being disposed below the crude ADN introduction point and the optional second side draw being disposed above the crude ADN introduction point. The first side draw is used to draw off a gaseous stream comprising ADN while the optional second side draw is used to draw off undesired by-products such as 1-amino-2-cyanocyclopentene (ACCP) which are often generated in ADN production and consequently may be present in the crude ADN. The gaseous stream from the first side draw of (R1) is introduced into a second rectification apparatus (R2). (R2) is used to separate off ADN from remaining high boilers and any other by-products present, pure ADN being drawn off from (D2) as overhead product.
