Abstract: A lubricant composition includes a base oil present in an amount of greater than 70 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the lubricant composition and an antioxidant. The antioxidant has the structure: wherein each X is independently C-A or N, so long as at least one X is N but no more than two of X are N. Moreover, A is H, cyano or an electron donating group that: (1) has an atom having at least one lone pair of electrons that is bonded directly to the aromatic ring; or (2) is an aryl group or alkyl group. Further, each R is independently H, an alkyl group, or aryl group and each R? is independently an alkyl group or an aryl group.

Abstract: Platinum is applied on a carrier such as graphite to form a platinum catalyst. The catalyst becomes poisoned with a metal as a result of use of the catalyst in preparation of hydroxylammonium salts. A method of regenerating the catalyst dissolves the platinum and the metal in an acid. The method also adds ammonium sulfate to the acid to precipitate the platinum. The ammonium sulfate is a by-product of a commercial process to synthesize a caprolactam. Also, the method precipitates the platinum onto the carrier for reuse in the preparation of the hydroxylammonium salts and in preparation of the caprolactam.
Abstract: The present invention concerns microcapsules comprising a capsule core and a capsule wall composed of thermoset polymer and also, disposed on the outer surface of the capsule wall, a polyelectrolyte having an average molecular weight in the range from 500 g/mol to 10 million g/mol, and also a process for their production and their use in bindered building materials, textiles, heat transfer fluids and dumped beds.
