Abstract: Polyanils of the general formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.24 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.24 -alkoxy, Cl, Br, CF.sub.3 or NO.sub.2,R.sup.2 is para-phenylene, a fused aromatic ring system of 10 to 30 carbon atoms or ##STR2## R.sup.3 is a chemical bond, S, O, NH, CH.sub.2, CH.dbd.CH, CO, SO or SS andn is an integer from 5 to 100,and their acid addition salts of the general formula II ##STR3## where X.sup.- is ClO.sub.4.sup.-, BF.sub.4.sup.-, AsF.sub.6.sup.- or ##STR4## and R.sub.4 is C.sub.1 --C.sub.8 -alkyl are disclosed. The polyanils are useful as electrically conductive materials and for nonlinear optical purposes.

Abstract: A process for the preparatiion of an amine which comprises reacting a primary or secondary alcohol and a nitrogen compound selected from the group consisting of ammonia and primary and secondary amines, at temperatures of from 80.degree. to 250.degree. C. in an average residence time of from 3 to 20 minutes in highly concentrated solution or in the absence of a solvent. Said copolymers are used as binders for powder coatings.

Abstract: There is now provided a method for making a polyisocyanate based rigid closed cell foam made by reacting an organic isocyanate with a polyol composition made up of at least:a) an aromatic amine initiated polyoxyalkylene polyether polyol having an hydroxyl number of 200 meq polyol/g KOH or more;b) an aliphatic amine initiated polyoxyalkylene polyether polyol having an hydroxyl number of 200 meq polyol/g KOH or more in an amount of 10 weight percent or less based on the weight of the polyol composition; andc) cyclopentane,wherein the cyclopentane is dissolved in the polyol composition. The organic isocyanate and the polyol composition are reacted at an isocyanate index ranging from 80 to less than 150, and throughout this isocyanate index range, the resulting foam has a substantially constant k-factor and is dimensionally stable.
