Abstract: A heated, moist air sandwich bin for maintaining sandwiches therewithin sufficiently moist and at pre-selected appropriately elevated temperatures comprising a front always open service opening through which sandwiches may be inserted into and/or removed from the bin. A bin floor divides the bin into an upper sandwich compartment and a lower compartment and defines with the side walls of the bin air flow passages for permitting air movement between the upper and lower compartments. Blower means in the lower compartment forces moisturized air over heaters and through a discharge nozzle extending substantially across the width of and below the service opening. Air directing vanes positioned at the service opening and extending into the upper compartment direct the flow of air discharging the nozzle away from the service opening to create and maintain a dome of hot, moist air over the sandwiches while creating turbulent zones outside the dome to minimize hot, moist air escape through the service openings.

Abstract: An easily and readily cleaned, preferably multi-tiered, freely movable, counter-top food display stand for self service which is simple in construction, easy to assemble and maintain and provides full viewability, maximizes accessibility and shields for sanitation the food displayed. The stand is preferably supported at each tier, in whole or a major part, by one leg at each end with the leg of the lowest tier disposed at the front where customer contact might occur and damage be resisted.

Abstract: The cabinets are equipped with elongated three-sided, flanged or webbed channels, opening downward and extending along a bottom edge. A plurality of detachable leg assemblies, having extendable feet is provided which have top plates that fit into the channels in an interlocking and mating arrangement. Holding means for each leg comprise set screws or the like that impinge against one flange of the channel and force the opposite edge or flange of the plate into the corner defined by the other flange of the channel. The legs can be inserted at intermediate or end positions along the channels at desired positions without the necessity of insertion into the open ends and sliding them longitudinally of the channels for proper placement. A modified telescoping leg assembly is also disclosed.
