Abstract: A refillable desk top dispenser for dispensing fanfolded notepaper is provided which includes a tray having a side wall and a bottom wall for defining a cavity therein, the side wall having a vertical slot therein; a removeable cover for placing over the cavity of the tray having a centrally transverse opening extending therethrough for dispensing single individual sheets of fanfolded notepaper from a stack; a platform of a suitable size for receiving the stack of fanfolded notepaper, having extending tabs thereon adapted to cooperate mechanically with the vertical slots, thereby defining the range of vertical movement of the platform; and spring for upwardly urging the platform towards an upper position on the track means to facilitate the proper dispensation of the notepaper.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a stapling machine which comprises: a stapling magazine for receiving staples which has a staple discharge opening at one end and a cover, pivotally mounted to the magazine at the other end. The cover is pivotally movable between a closed position overlying the magazine and an open position. A staple support is provided within the magazine which supports the staples therein. A follower is slidably mounted on the support for urging the staples toward the discharge opening. A spring urges the follower to slide toward the staple discharge opening. A detent is provided which coacts with the follower to prevent the follower from sliding toward the discharge opening when the cover is open. An actuator for releasing the follower from the detent when the cover is pivoted toward the closed position permits the follower to slide toward the discharge opening.
Abstract: A card file of compact and efficient design which is fitted with a compact rotary base and separate stabilizers fastened to the bottom surface of the card file. A swivel base and stabilizers attached to the file housing provide a low profile, lighweight and efficient means by which the card file can be swivelled to any desired position in the horizontal plane. Adjusting means are also available to ensure that the stabilizing means can accommodate any irregularities in the bottom surface of the file or other object to which the swivel is attached in order to provide a proper disposition of the stabilizing elements.
