The keepsake box and ornament are configured such that the ornament is attachable to the keepsake box. The ornament can be removed from the casket in which a deceased was displayed for viewing and attached to the keepsake box so that the keepsake box and ornament can be presented to a loved one of the deceased as a memorial to the deceased.

The ornament can be removed from the casket in which a deceased was displayed for viewing and attached to the planter so that the planter and ornament can be presented to a loved one of the deceased as a memorial to the deceased.

Respective ones of first and second latch pins removably secure the first and second arms in the first and second receivers. A latch lever is operably associated with the first and second latch pins and simultaneously actuates the latch pins to latched and unlatched positions. The snowplow frame includes a jack stand movable to and between an extended ground contacting and snowplow frame supporting position and a retracted ground noncontacting and snowplow frame nonsupporting position.

The memorabilia compartment assembly comprises a panel mountable to the casket for swinging displacement between an inner hanging position within the casket and an outer hanging without the casket. The panel includes a display side exposed when in the outer hanging position. The display side includes a compartment for the display and/or storage of pictures. The outer surface of the compartment is transparent so as to view the pictures within the compartment. The memorabilia compartment assembly can be incorporated into a big body and/or throw used during viewing of the deceased.

Abstract: A method of assisting a loved one of a deceased in planning a funeral or other service which memorializes the deceased. The method may be initiated with the “planner,” i.e. a funeral director or computer and software, querying the loved one as to various aspects of the life of the deceased. Then, based on the loved one's responses to the queries, a theme is selected, from a menu of themes, for a vignette to be incorporated into the funeral or other service. Finally, within the selected theme, one or more memorial items are selected from a menu of memorial items to be utilized in the vignette. Alternatively, the queries can be dispensed with, and the loved one can immediately select a vignette theme from the menu of themes (assisted by either the funeral director or via interactive software running on a computer). Then, as before, one or more memorial items within the selected theme are chosen from a menu of possible memorial items, and are utilized in the vignette in the funeral or other memorial service.
