Abstract: A decorative product has at least one, but preferably many solid icons made of ester-terminated polyamide (ETPA) and low-polarity liquid such as mineral oil. A clear medium such as clear ETPA-based polymer, is around the icon. The medium may be in a clear jar and a wick may extend through the medium to form a candle.

Abstract: A sprayable composition in a pump spray bottle includes a fragrance oil and reflective material. The reflective material is sized to pass through the atomizer of the pump spray bottle. Linens or clothing can be sprayed with the composition to provide a pleasant smell and sparkling appearance to the surfaces sprayed.
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing individual leaves of soap from a stack of leaves stored in the dispenser, includes top and bottom plastic case portions which are connected to and aligned by four pins extending from one container half into holes in the other container half. The pins are held in the holes by friction to hold the case portions together. A tool is used in a pry slot formed at the sides of the dispenser between the case portions, to pry the halves apart and open the case for replenishing the supply of leaves. The dispenser has an outlet slot with a length and width selected for dispensing one leaf at a time. A finger opening exposes part of the top surface of the stack near the outlet slot and is covered by reusable adhesive tape. The tape is partly removed to expose the finger opening and outlet slot so that a finger can contact the top leaf and eject it through the slot. The outlet slot has an upper lip overhang, over a lower lip of the outlet slot.
Abstract: An arrangement is used with a light bulb for emitting fragrance. The arrangement has a ring or other shaped member made of a first polymer. The first polymer has a first low melting point which is about a first temperature at a spaced location from the surface of the light bulb when it is lit. A volatilizable fragrance is combined with the first polymer for being volatilized from the first polymer when the ring member is exposed to the first temperature. A plurality of feet extend inwardly of the ring member for engaging the surface of a light bulb to maintain the ring member at the spaced location on the light bulb. These spacer feet are made of a second polymer having a second high melting point compared to the first low melting point. The second melting point is above a second temperature at the surface of the light bulb when it is lit.
Abstract: A transparent gel air freshener and method of preparing the same. The gel composition comprises an aqueous gel, a fragrance, a surfactant and a co-solvent. The gel is transparent and free from visible particles and inhomogeneities, has a uniform texture and a continuous structure, and includes volatile scented components. The gel is capable of suspending solids such as botanicals therein for decorative effect. The method provides for preparation of a such a gel air freshener, including the suspension of botanicals therein, while maintaining the clarity, texture, and structure of the gel. The method includes the steps of preparing a gel composition and cooling the gel composition. Botanicals may be added to the gel composition when it has gelled enough to support the botanicals on the gel surface.
