Abstract: A takedown pin for a firearm, having at least some of a head; a shank, wherein the shank extends from the head to a terminal surface; a projection extending from at least a portion of the terminal surface; a first groove or slot formed in at least a portion of the shank; a second groove or slot formed in at least a portion of the shank, wherein the first end of the first groove or slot is positioned at a spaced apart location from the first end of the second groove or slot; and a connecting groove or slot formed between the first end of the first groove or slot and the first end of the second groove or slot.
Abstract: A recoil buffer system having a buffer element, wherein the buffer element extends from a first buffer element end to a second buffer element end; a shoulder extending from a portion of the buffer element; a spacer, wherein the spacer extends from a first spacer end to a second spacer end, wherein the spacer is slidable along at least a portion of the buffer element; a first recoil spring, wherein the first recoil spring extends from a first end of the first recoil spring to a second end of the first recoil spring; and a second recoil spring, wherein the second recoil spring is positioned between the shoulder and the first spacer end of the spacer, and wherein the first recoil spring is positioned such that a first end of the first recoil spring is abutted against and extends from the second spacer end of the spacer.
Abstract: A buttstock having a buttplate that comprises a partial hollow cylinder extending from a surface of the buttplate; a static arm extending from a first portion of the partial hollow cylinder; a dynamic arm extending from a second portion of the partial hollow cylinder, wherein the static arm is separated from the dynamic arm by a compression gap, wherein the dynamic arm can be urged toward the static arm; and an at least partially threaded static arm aperture formed through said static arm and aligned with a dynamic arm aperture formed through said dynamic arm.
