  • Patent number: 11623554
Abstract: A storage device for a vehicle has a guide unit and a hinge element, which can be guided on the guide unit and which is guided for sliding in the manner of a drawer along the guide unit. The hinge element has a contact surface and at least one side wall angled thereto. The side wall has a plurality of fold regions, such that a first hinge part and a second hinge part are formed between the fold lines in such a way that the storage device, in a usage position, forms a stable base surface for objects.

  • Patent number: 11187177
Abstract: A method and a device detect and characterize fuel leakage in an injection system of an internal combustion. The injection system has an injection device for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine, a closable high-pressure branch for supplying the injection device with fuel placed under a first fuel pressure, and a closable low-pressure branch for feeding fuel placed under a second, lower fuel pressure from a fuel supply to the high-pressure branch. The high-pressure branch and the low-pressure branch are each closed, wherein in the high-branch branch and in the low-pressure branch an associated curve of fuel pressure over time is sensed at the same time during a measurement time period. On the basis of the sensed curve of fuel pressure of the high-pressure branch, it is checked whether fuel loss occurred in the closed-off high-pressure branch during the measurement time period.

  • Patent number: 9435295
Abstract: A method is provided for operating a volume-controlled internal-combustion engine having an intake tract and an exhaust system. An expansion machine is arranged in the intake tract in the flow direction of a combustion air in front of an inlet valve of the engine. An output shaft of the expansion machine is coupleable with an output shaft of the engine. A heat exchanger is arranged in the exhaust system. Before combustion air flows through the expansion machine, it is heated in the heat exchanger by exhaust gas of the internal-combustion engine. The method achieves an efficiency improvement in an internal-combustion engine with a volume-controlled load control at partial load.

  • Patent number: 8630794
Abstract: A method for the operation of a navigation device, and a corresponding navigation device are provided. Multiple route elements are received which each have at least one parameter. The route elements characterize a route. Each of the route elements are assigned to local route elements which are stored in a digital memory card stored in the navigation device. A quality coefficient for the assignability to a local route element is determined for each of the route elements depending on at least one of the at least one parameters. A route reconstruction quality coefficient is determined depending on the respective quality coefficients of the route elements.
