  • Patent number: 12227249
Abstract: A wheel support or a pivot bearing of a vehicle includes a receiving molding for a ball-joint pin of a track rod for changing the toe angle of a wheel rotatably secured to the wheel support or pivot bearing. The receiving molding is provided with an elastomer layer which lies at least partly in a force transmission path from the ball-joint pin to the wheel support or pivot bearing. The elasticity or possible elastic deformability of the elastomer layer is lower in the receiving molding sections via which a greater force component is transmitted, in particular in the range of smaller track angles, when the track rod is moved in order to steer the wheel than in receiving molding sections via which a smaller force component or no force component is transmitted when the track rod is moved in order to steer the wheel.

  • Patent number: 12228250
Abstract: A pressure vessel system has a pressure vessel for storing gaseous fuel, a fuel line, and a total-pressure sensor for measuring a total pressure of the fuel at a position within the fuel line. This makes it possible for various functions, such as the control of power reduction, for example, to be performed more accurately than if only static pressure were being used. The technology disclosed here also relates to an energy supply arrangement having such a pressure vessel system and having an energy converter, such as a fuel cell, for example.

  • Patent number: 12227203
Abstract: A method includes obtaining a pre-defined roadmodel 2-dimensional (2D) manifold in 6D space, wherein the roadmodel 2D manifold in 6D space is pre-defined by transforming objects in a roadmodel from 3D space into 6D space, obtaining a current position of the vehicle and a target position of the vehicle on the horizontal plane; obtaining a piece of the roadmodel 2D manifold covering the current position and the target position; flattening the piece of the roadmodel represented by the piece of the roadmodel 2D manifold onto the horizontal plane while maintaining a distance between any two points from 3D space to the horizontal plane; and planning a trajectory for the vehicle from the current position to the target position in the flattened roadmodel on the horizontal plane.

  • Patent number: 12221026
Abstract: A vehicle seat has a foot and/or calf support, a lower seat part which has a seat surface and can be coupled to a vehicle structure having an interior floor in a preferably longitudinally displaceable manner, and a backrest having a backrest surface. The foot and/or calf support has a support surface that is arranged in front of the lower seat part and is movable between a stowed position and a use position. The foot and/or calf support is arranged with a first seat-side edge in front of, on or under the lower seat part and includes a free edge which is remote from the seat-side edge and is arranged in front of the lower seat part so as to be spaced apart from the lower seat part and is coupled to the vehicle structure. The foot and/or calf support is formed by or has at least one support element having the support surface, the support element being designed as an at least two-dimensionally flexible sheet material.

  • Patent number: 12221933
Abstract: A control unit is provided for a hybrid drive that includes an internal combustion engine and an electric machine. The control unit is configured to cause one or more drag torque reduction measures of the internal combustion engine to be terminated in preparation for firing the internal combustion engine. In addition, the control unit is configured to cause the electric machine to at least partly compensate for an increase in the drag torque of the internal combustion engine caused by the termination of the one or more drag torque reduction measures.

  • Patent number: 12222014
Abstract: A vehicle unit fastening subassembly for vibratory fastening of a vehicle unit, in particular of a motor and/or transmission, to a vehicle structure of a motor vehicle, has at least one first carrier element on the unit side and a second carrier element on the vehicle side. The first carrier element and the second carrier element are connected to each other by a vibration damper, which is arranged at least in part in the first carrier element or in the second carrier element. The vibration damper is fluidically connected to a hydraulic unit by a flow channel, which is arranged adjacent to the vibration damper in a plan view of the vibration damper. A modular system is provided having a vibration damper and a hydraulic unit, wherein the vibration damper is usable either together with the hydraulic unit as a hydraulic vibration damper or without the hydraulic unit as a conventional bearing.
