Abstract: A breast support structure of a garment includes one or more substantially rigid support members. Each substantially rigid support member includes a profile portion having a first end, a second end and a generally curved body that extends between the first end and the second end. The generally curved body includes a top curved surface and a bottom curved surface. Each substantially rigid support member includes a cantilevered portion connected to the top curved surface of the profile portion that projects outward from the profile portion, and one or more structural elements extending across at least a part of the cantilevered portion and at least a part of the profile portion.
