Abstract: A pressurized gas-insulated circuit breaker includes a substantially tubular encapsulating housing having ends, a plurality of circuit breaker poles in phases, at least one of which is disposed in the encapsulating housing, and current feed lines. Each line leading to a respective one of the circuit breaker poles. Current discharge lines each lead from a respective one of the circuit breaker poles. The current feed and discharge lines to and from each respective circuit breaker pole being disposed at the same one of the ends of the encapsulating housing. Supplemental conductors are each disposed in the encapsulating housing and are each extending parallel to and forming a U-shape with a respective one of the circuit breaker poles.

Abstract: A modulator for modulating binary data signals by frequency shift keying (FSK), in which a binary data level 1 is represented by a first frequency (f.sub.1) and the binary data level 0 is represented by a second frequency (f.sub.2) is provided. The modulator addresses a first addressing input of a programmable memory with the binary data signals, in which half the periods of the two frequencies (f.sub.1, f.sub.2) are marked in two memory regions (I, II) of the programmable memory addressed by the first addressing input. The modulator further controls other address inputs with a driven counter; and generates a pulse resetting the counter and controlling a 2:1 frequency divider having an output delivering one of the frequencies (f.sub.1, f.sub.2), when addressing a storage cell, in which one of the halfperiods is marked.

Abstract: A switch drive assembly includes a switch having a contact and a control shaft for actuating the contact and switching substantially currentlessly, and a drive having a drive motor, a flywheel accumulator connected to the drive motor for receiving a change from the drive motor immediately prior to a switching process, the flywheel accumulator being coupled to the control shaft for discharging during a switching process and executing a previously initiated switching process, the drive motor acting as a generator for generation of a self-sufficient voltage supply during discharge of the flywheel accumulator.
