  • Patent number: 9571463
Abstract: Systems and techniques for policy-based access control in content networks are herein described. Content and metadata describing the content may be encrypted by using an access control policy and a cryptographic key associated with the access control policy. The access control policy may be defined with a set of access control attributes. Each node in the content-based network may be assigned a set of access control attributes and a cryptographic key generated as a function of its assigned set of access control attributes. Each node in the content-based network may be configured to decrypt successfully the metadata or the content if and only if the assigned set of access control attributes of the node satisfies the access control policy used to encrypt the metadata or content.

  • Patent number: 9548436
Abstract: A detector for detecting single photons of infrared radiation. In one embodiment a waveguide configured to transmit infrared radiation is arranged to be adjacent a graphene sheet and configured so that evanescent waves from the waveguide overlap the graphene sheet. An infrared photon absorbed by the graphene sheet from the evanescent waves heats the graphene sheet. The graphene sheet is coupled to the weak link of a Josephson junction, and a constant bias current is driven through the Josephson junction, so that an increase in the temperature of the graphene sheet results in a decrease in the critical current of the Josephson junction and a voltage pulse in the voltage across the Josephson junction. The voltage pulse is detected by the pulse detector.

  • Patent number: 9407764
Abstract: Systems and methods that analyze and monitor the performance of a call center including performance of the interactive voice response systems, call center agents, and other components. The systems and methods record characteristics of the call such as the audio data, and analyze that record to identify the events that take place during the call. These events may be defined as customer/call center interactions, such as dropped calls, logic errors or other event. A call center administrator may also identify a set of metrics, such as the number of dropped calls that occur during a day, that may be monitored by the systems described herein. The data collected about these events and metrics may be stored in a database and provided to the administrator through a user interface that allows the administrator to browse through the collected metric and recorded call data and directly review relevant portions of a call.

  • Patent number: 9390272
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for determining whether a third party observer could determine that an organization has an intent with respect to subject matter based on the organization's web activity. The determination that there is a risk of information leaks to the third party observer can be completed by analyzing the entropy of web usage information destined for the third party observer's servers. Systems and methods are also disclosed for mitigating the risk of information leaks by obscuring the organization's web activity. The web activity can be obscured by selecting candidate actions that can be used to generate neutralizing web traffic from the organization's network which will obscure an intent with respect to a particular subject matter. For example, the candidate actions can identify specific queries, links, or actions that the organization can take to neutralize their web activity to a less remarkable point in the search space.
