  • Patent number: 9993755
Abstract: An edge closure system is presented herein wherein a portion of the closure edge of the filter bags leading to the outlet pipe aperture are provided with mating snapping closures, allowing to sealingly close the length of the edge of the fabric leading to the outlet pipe aperture simply by engaging the male and female components of the snapping closures. Moreover, an outlet pipe closure system is also presented herein using a combination of a tongue mounted internally to one of the sides of the fabric forming the bag in a manner to be wrappable around at least a corresponding portion of the outlet pipe, and a fabric hood mounted externally and overlapping both sides of the bag at the outlet pipe aperture, which cooperates with the tongue to seal the interface between the outlet pipe and the bag when held in position.

  • Patent number: 8728401
Abstract: The pleated filter bag, which can be used in a bag-house type dust collector, is elongated and has a longitudinal hollow center with an open end, and a pleated filter wall circumscribing the hollow center. The pleated filter wall has a felt such as PTFE fibers felted onto an apertured and pleatable scrim which can be made of metal, and having a permeability lower than a permeability of the scrim. A membrane of lower-permeability material, such as an E-PTFE membrane, covers the support felt on the outer side of the bag.

  • Patent number: 4042509
Abstract: A water treatment system having a self-cleaning filter assembly connected to a supply conduit for receiving an effluent and filtering solids from the effluent. The filtered effluent is passed through an ozone and oxidation assembly and into an ozonizing stage which includes subjecting the effluent to ultra-sonic waves and an electric current simultaneously for changing the condition and character of the effluent. The system includes a sterilizing assembly for decontaminating the ozonized effluent, with a chlorinator desirably chlorinating the effluent prior to discharge of the effluent from the system.

  • Patent number: 4007120
Abstract: An ozone and oxidation chamber for treating a liquid has a housing provided with an influent line and an effluent line spaced from one another for creating a flow of a liquid through the housing. At least one rotatable axle provided with an agitating blade is arranged extending through the housing transverse to the influent and effluent lines, and to the path of liquid being treated, for agitating the liquid in order to mix into the liquid at a high rate oxygen and ozone received from an injection nozzle directed into the liquid and toward the blade. The rotation of the agitator blade is adequate to generate sufficient frictional forces created during the passage of the blade through the liquid to create static electricity on the blade that facilitates conversion of oxygen injected into the liquid, and found in the liquid itself, into ozone which kills germs, virus, and the like in the liquid.

  • Patent number: 3962593
Abstract: An electromagnetic impulse motor having a stator and a rotor arranged for rotation relative to the stator. Permanent magnets are mounted on either the rotor or stator, while electromagnets are mounted on the other of the rotor and stator in order to cooperate the permanent magnets. A variable speed motor actuates a timing disc to pulse the electromagnets as a function of the speed of the variable speed motor to control the speed of rotation of the rotor of the electromagnetic motor.
