Abstract: The present disclosure is related to compositions comprising peptides that bind CD40 and methods of use in inhibiting interaction of CD40 and CD154 and inducing immunosuppression. Provided herein are methods of transplantation and methods of inhibiting donor specific immune response. Also provided herein are methods of treatment for autoimmune diseases, inflammatory diseases and cancer.

Approved designs of two or more designs for a product received by the computer system via a communications network from at least one designer are displayed in an online gallery. The approved designs are in accordance with design criteria provided to the website by a client. Input to the website is received for the two or more approved designs from website visitor. The two or more approved designs are ranked according to the input to provide ranked designs in an image gallery. A request from at least one customer is received for a for-sale product of one of the ranked designs. The request is then sent to a manufacturer to make the for-sale product for the at least one customer according to the requested one of the ranked designs.

Abstract: Gluten-free vegan mixtures, compositions and recipes for baked goods with improved qualities including, but not limited to, taste, texture consistency and nutritional value. In one embodiment, a recipe for preparing a dry mix for gluten-free baked goods is provided. The recipe is comprised of approximately ½ part rice flour, ¼ part bean flour, ? part tapioca starch, ? part corn starch, 1/100 part baking powder, 3/500 part baking soda and 1/58 part any combination of guar, xanthan, locust bean gums and/or locust root.

Abstract: An application program interface (API), enables web development tools to interact directly with a hyperlink database subsystem. Tool developers use this API to design functionality that enables affiliates to log on to the hyperlink database system and generate merchant links. In response to requests from vendors' tools, the invention API uses the XML format to deliver requested hyperlink generation information. The requests are encrypted for users' privacy. The returned hyperlink generation information includes lists of merchants, lists of hyperlinks to the merchants web sites, the HTML code supporting the hyperlinks, and graphics for the links. Users implement hyperlinks by selecting among the choices returned in the response to the request and graphically placing (i.e., by drag and drop interaction) the resulting hyperlinks on subject web pages in a simple, error-free manner.

An angled mount formed of two retention clips positions a germicidal lamp at a desired angle. A security access cover ensures that the germicidal lamp is disconnected from its power supply before access. Multiple germicidal lamps may be mounted by a single retention clip.

Abstract: Computer network method and apparatus provides targeting of appropriate audience based on psychographic or behavioral profiles of end users. The psychographic profile is formed by recording computer activity and viewing habits of the end user. Content of categories of interest and display format in each category are revealed by the psychographic profile, based on user viewing of agate information. Using the profile (with or without additional user demographics), advertisements are displayed to appropriately selected users. Based on regression analysis of recorded responses of a first set of users viewing the advertisements, the target user profile is refined. Viewing by and regression analysis of recorded responses of subsequent sets of users continually auto-targets and customizes ads for the optimal end user audience.

Abstract: An adjustable filter uses an eight member frame construction to provide a wide range of filter sizes. A panel for encasing one or more layers of filtering materials within the frame is formed from a grid having a border which unevenly encompasses the crossbars of the panel in order to allow various sizes of panels to be formed without producing exposed barbs and without increasing the air resistance of the filter. An embodiment using an electric field is disclosed to enhance the filtering properties of the filter.

Abstract: An adapter system for use with an internal combustion engine flushing apparatus which permits universal connection to the crank case and the lubrication system of a large number of different sizes and types of internal combustion engines. The adapter system comprises a first adapter referred to as a crank case adapter enabling a hose of a flushing apparatus to be connected within the drain plug port of an oil path of the engine. This first adapter is provided with a mechanism to enable the adapter to fit within the drain plug port of substantially all automotive vehicle internal combustion engines without being threadably secured within the drain plug hole. A second adapter set or so called lubrication system adapter set is comprised of a plurality of different lubrication system adapter pieces which individually or in combination fit at the oil filter port leading to the lubrication system of the internal combustion engine.

Abstract: The invention contemplates a water-treatment system wherein inlet water is subjected to continuous circulation, or at least to a plurality of cycles of circulation, in a loop wherein air under pressure is injected into the water prior to passage through a magnetic-energy treatment device. The recirculation involves a tank which thus provides a volume of available pretreated water, against which to drawn in accordance with intermittent demand. Magnetic-field treatment of the aerated water creates particulates, from oxidizable impurities such as iron, and these particulates are separable by filtration; and as to those impurities as involve dissolved gases, such as radon or hydrogen sulfide, the gases are driven from solution and vented (along with excess air) external to the treated-water outlet of the system.
