  • Patent number: 10790888
Abstract: Disclosed are a method for transmitting and receiving channel state information in a multi-antenna wireless communication system, and an apparatus therefor. Particularly, a method by which user equipment (UE) reports channel state information in a two-dimensional multi-antenna wireless communication system comprises the steps of: receiving, from a base station, a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) through a multi-antenna port; and reporting the channel state information to the base station, wherein a plurality of codewords, which are used for generating a pre-coding matrix selected by the UE in a codebook for reporting the channel state information, are specified by the channel state information and, after power coefficients are applied to each of the plurality of codewords, the pre-coding matrix can be generated based on a linear combination of the plurality of codewords to which the power coefficients are applied.

  • Patent number: 10790884
Abstract: In an example of multi-user wireless communications, an access point may send a downlink frame, including a first signaling field and a second signaling field, to multiple stations. The first and second signaling fields are located in a header of the downlink frame. The first signaling field indicates whether the downlink frame is associated with a multi-user (MU) multi-input multi-output (MIMO) transmission. The second signaling field includes an attribute of the MU-MIMO transmission or a non-MU-MIMO transmission. A resource unit of the downlink frame includes a MU-MIMO payload when the downlink frame is associated with the MU-MIMO transmission. A resource unit of the downlink frame includes a non-MU-MIMO payload when the downlink frame is associated with the non-MU-MIMO transmission. The stations may decode one or more portions of the downlink frame based on the attribute in the second signaling field. Other methods, apparatus, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10789246
Abstract: In a processing time, a dense graph is received, nodes of the dense graph are clustered using the first parameter to generate a sparse graph, a weight for each edge of the sparse graph is assigned; and the weights are stored in computer memory for use in a run time. In the run time after the processing time, a request for a weight of an edge between two first nodes of the dense graph is received, using a weight stored in computer memory, an approximated weight for the request is found and returned.

  • Patent number: 10789630
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a predictive engine for online distribution of sensitive transaction processing information. A first user may utilize a communication device to perform transaction processing, which may cause generation of a transaction history, such as a receipt, that documents the transaction. The first user may utilize a service that may post or distribute the transaction history for other users to view, including a second user. In order to preserve the first user's privacy, the service provider may perform predictive analysis of whether the transaction history should be distributed, for example, by hiding the transaction history from the second user if the first user owes the second user money. In further embodiments, the transaction history may be distributed to the second user that would not normally receive the transaction history if it would be of interest to the second user.

  • Patent number: 10786151
Abstract: An ophthalmic instrument includes a carrier positionable relative to a test subject, and first and second measurement units mounted on the carrier by corresponding first and second parallelogram linkages. The first measurement unit, for example an autorefractor/keratometer, performs a first type of ophthalmic measurement, and is guided by the first parallelogram linkage to move relative to the carrier simultaneously in forward and downward directions from an idle position to a measurement position. The second measurement unit, for example a tonometer, performs a second type of ophthalmic measurement, and is guided by the second parallelogram linkage to move relative to the carrier simultaneously in forward and upward directions from an idle position to a measurement position. The first and second measurement units may each have a respective optical axis which aligns with a fixed measurement axis of the carrier when the measurement unit is in its measurement position.
