Patent number: 12042263Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to systems and apparatuses for detecting and correcting for magnetic field distortions within a magnetic field used for medical magnetic localization systems. In one example embodiment, a system is disclosed including a magnetic field generator and a magnetic detection sensor. The magnetic field generator generates the magnetic field for localization of a catheter within the patient. The magnetic detection sensor includes a plurality of sensor coils positioned at fixed distances and orientations relative to one another. Each of the sensor coils sense the magnetic field within a sensing region aligned with a longitudinal axis of the sensor coil, and outputs an electrical signal indicative of the sensed magnetic field. The plurality of sensing coils form two substantially contiguous sensing regions, a first continuous sensing region above the magnetic detection sensor, and a second continuous sensing region below the magnetic detection sensor.Type: GrantFiled: April 16, 2020Date of Patent: July 23, 2024Assignee: ST. Patent number: 12044455Abstract: The present invention provides an ice shaver with a modular, thermally-isolated and removable shave disc that carries a blade and secures the blade relative to a frame and a column pressing an ice block against the blade. The shave disc is positioned opposite a spike plate and receives the ice block thereon. The shave disc is modular with an upper metal slip disc upon which the ice block rotates, and a lower plastic isolation pad that carries the metal disc and isolates the slip disc from the frame of the ice shaver. The isolation plate can carry the blade and the blade can extend therefrom through a slot in the slip disc. The shave disc, with the isolation pad, the blade and the slip disc, can be retained in a shave deck of the frame of the ice shaver and removed without tools for ease of cleaning.Type: GrantFiled: August 20, 2021Date of Patent: July 23, 2024Assignee: Pioneer Family Brands, Inc.Inventors: Donald Griffiths, Robin Peng

Patent number: 12044806Abstract: Various implementations of the invention compensate for “phase wandering” in tunable laser sources. Phase wandering may negatively impact a performance of a lidar system that employ such laser sources, typically by reducing a coherence length/range of the lidar system, an effective bandwidth of the lidar system, a sensitivity of the lidar system, etc. Some implementations of the invention compensate for phase wandering near the laser source and before the output of the laser is directed toward a target. Some implementations of the invention compensate for phase wandering in the target signal (i.e., the output of the laser that is incident on and reflected back from the target). Some implementations of the invention compensate for phase wandering at the laser source and in the target signal.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 2022Date of Patent: July 23, 2024Assignee: Aeva, Inc.Inventors: Richard L. Patent number: 12045591Abstract: A compiler transforms a high-level program into configuration data for a coarse-grained reconfigurable (CGR) data processor with an array of CGR units. The compiler includes a method that identifies a skip buffer in a dataflow graph, determines limitations associated with the array, and searches for a lowest cost implementation topology and stage depth. At least three topologies are considered, including a cascaded buffer topology, a hybrid buffer topology, and a striped buffer topology. The lowest cost implementation topology and stage depth are based on the size of the buffered data (usually, the size of a tensor), the depth of the skip buffer, and the array's limitations. The hybrid buffer topology includes multiple sections of parallel memory units. The data travels between memory units in one section to adjacent memory units in a next section without intervening reorder buffers.Type: GrantFiled: September 14, 2022Date of Patent: July 23, 2024Assignee: SambaNova Systems, Inc.Inventors: Nathan Sheeley, Weihang Fan, Matheen Musaddiq, Ram Sivaramakrishnan

Patent number: 12045201Abstract: Techniques are described for automatically identifying and configuring IT and security application connectors relevant to users' IT environment by obtaining and analyzing data reflecting activity within an IT environment. The identification of types of assets within an IT environment may be based on analyzing a “source type” field included in events associated with the IT environment, where the source type field included in each event provides an indication of a type of device or service to which the event relates. The values stored in the source type field of events associated with a user's IT environment might indicate, for example, the presence of various types of computing devices, software applications, network devices, and so forth. Based on the identification of types of assets present in an IT environment, an IT and security operations application automatically configures corresponding connectors for those types of assets.Type: GrantFiled: January 31, 2020Date of Patent: July 23, 2024Assignee: Splunk Inc.Inventors: Sourabh Satish, Atif Mahadik, Govind Salinas

Patent number: 12046603Abstract: Disclosed is a semiconductor structure including a substrate with a first type conductivity (e.g., a P? silicon substrate); a deep well region within the substrate and having a second type conductivity (e.g., a deep Nwell); alternating stripes of first and second well regions (e.g., of Pwells and Nwells with each Pwell positioned laterally between and abutting two Nwells) within the substrate above and traversing the deep well region; and an isolation region (e.g., an Nwell-type isolation region) dividing a first well region (e.g., a Pwell) into sections. Since the sectioned first well region has the first type conductivity and since the isolation region, the deep well region below, and the adjacent well regions on either side have the second type conductivity, the different sections of the sectioned well region are electrically isolated and devices formed on an insulator layer above the different sections can be subjected to different back-biasing conditions.Type: GrantFiled: November 23, 2021Date of Patent: July 23, 2024Assignee: GlobalFoundries U.S. Inc.Inventors: Navneet Jain, Nigel Chan, Mahbub Rashed
