  • Patent number: 9836323
Abstract: Systems and methods for hypervisor scheduling of polling tasks are disclosed. In one implementation, responsive to determining that no input/output (I/O) worker tasks associated with virtual machines are running on a processor of a host computer system running a plurality of virtual machines, callback dispatcher task may be invoked by the processor. The callback dispatcher task may identify an entry of a callback list, wherein the entry references an input/output (I/O) worker task associated with a virtual machine of the plurality of virtual machines. The callback dispatcher task may further invoke a callback code referenced by the entry of the callback list. Responsive to identifying a pending I/O request, the callback code may wake up the input/output (I/O) worker task associated with the entry of the callback list.

  • Patent number: 9835548
Abstract: The devices and systems disclosed herein provide multiple optical capabilities in a single device or system. Methods for using these devices and systems are provided. These devices and systems are configurable for operation in each of a spectroscopy mode, a fluorescence mode, and a luminescence mode, and are capable of performing spectroscopic, fluorescence, and luminescence observations, measurements, and analyzes when operated in the corresponding spectroscopy mode, fluorescence mode, or luminescence mode. These devices and systems include mirror dispersion elements having multiple faces including an optical dispersion element on one face (e.g., a diffraction grating or a prism) and a reflective element on another face (e.g., a mirror). These multiple capabilities eliminate the need to move or load a sample in multiple devices when subjecting a sample to multiple analyzes, and thus provide greater accuracy, precision, and speed while reducing complexity and cost of sample analysis.

  • Patent number: 9835375
Abstract: Grain flow paths have an upper portion which is a mixed flow portion and which includes a preheat zone and a lower portion which is an undulating moisture equalizer portion and which includes a heat zone. Mixed flow grain diverters extend across the grain flow path substantially perpendicular to longitudinal side walls, and substantially parallel to transverse end walls of the grain flow path. Upper airflow openings are associated with each of the upper diverters. Moisture equalizer lower grain diverters extend along the longitudinal sides grain flow path substantially parallel to the longitudinal side walls, and substantially perpendicular to the transverse end walls of the grain flow path. The burner is positioned outside the airflow path to feed ambient air into the recirculating airflow path, without recirculating airflow passing through the burner.

  • Patent number: 9836502
Abstract: Systems and methods provide a platform of at least partially pre-defined panel templates that a user can select and manipulate to customize the visualization of data of interest within an interactive dashboard. Each panel template may be defined by a developer in advance to include a set of inputs, a query, and a visualization. Users may select pre-defined panel templates for inclusion in the dashboard, and when the dashboard is displayed, use the set of inputs of a particular panel to specify criteria that may further define the corresponding query and/or the visualization of data produced by executing the query. An electronic dashboard has a combination of available panel templates that may be selected and arranged according to a desired page layout or design. One or more reusable panel templates may be provided to a user of an enterprise application for data analysis and visualization.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for verifying pronunciations. In one aspect, a method includes obtaining a first transcription for an utterance. A second transcription for the utterance is obtained. The second transcription is different from the first transcription. One or more feature scores are determined based on the first transcription and the second transcription. The one or more feature scores are input to a trained classifier. An output of the classifier is received. The output indicates which of the first transcription and the second transcription is more likely to be a correct transcription of the utterance.

  • Patent number: 9838340
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, are described for storing message data in a PubSub system. In certain examples, messages are received from a plurality of publishers for a plurality of distinct channels. The messages are ordered and stored in a plurality of buffers, with each channel having its own respective buffer. After a message has been written to a writable portion of the buffer for a channel, a pointer demarking a boundary between a readable portion of the buffer and the writeable portion of the buffer is advanced in an atomic operation. Following the atomic operation, the message resides in the readable portion and may be accessed by PubSub system components and/or processes. In general, one or more subscribers, components, or processes may read messages from the readable portion, in parallel.
