  • Patent number: 12045936
Abstract: A system automatically identifies objects in an environment based on a walkthrough video and an annotated floorplan of the environment. The annotated floorplan indicates locations and types of objects that are expected to be in the environment. The system receives the walkthrough video and generates a 3D model of the environment. The system applies a machine learning model to the walkthrough video to identify regions within frames where objects are captured. After identifying the regions within frames of the walkthrough video that include objects, the system modifies corresponding regions of the 3D model to include the identified objects. For each of the identified objects, the system determines a likelihood of the identified object being present at a location in the environment based on a comparison of the modified 3D model and the annotated floorplan.

  • Patent number: 12047632
Abstract: An aspect of the disclosure related to methods and systems configured to detect that an item of streaming primary video content associated with a channel of scheduled streaming content is designated to be streamed to a device. Ancillary content is identified. Alternative versions of respective sections of the ancillary content are identified. Metadata corresponding to the alternative versions of ancillary content, metadata corresponding to the item of primary video content, and/or metadata corresponding to the channel are used in selecting a first section from among the alternative versions of a given section. The ancillary content, including the selected first section from among the alternative versions is streamed to the device immediately before, during, or immediately after the item of streaming video content. The alternative versions may be transcoded to generate multiple encoded iterations of respective alternative versions and the encoded versions are stored in a tree data structure.

  • Patent number: 12046229
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing notifications without breaking media immersion. A notification delivery application receives notification data while a media device provides a media asset. In response to receiving the notification data while the media device provides the media asset, the notification delivery application generates a voice model based on a voice detected in the media asset. The notification delivery application converts the notification data to synthesized speech using the voice model and generates, by the media device, the synthesized speech for output at an appropriate point in the media asset based on contextual features of the media asset.

  • Patent number: 12043484
Abstract: A browser application of a mobile device receives an instruction from a web page to obtain identity and/or age data from a digital wallet application of the mobile device, obtains the requested data upon successful biometric authentication, transmits the requested data to the server system, receives a graphic barcode from the server system corresponding to a determination by the server system that the requested data satisfies an identity or age-based restriction or regulation, and causes the graphic barcode to be displayed on a display of the mobile device. A verifying device scans the graphic barcode and transmits it to the server system. The server system transmits a validation decision to the verifying device based on a determination that the graphic barcode transmitted to the mobile device corresponds to the graphic barcode received from the verifying device.

  • Patent number: 12043273
Abstract: A method includes generating, while a vehicle is operating in an autonomous-driving mode, a planned trajectory associated with a computing system of the vehicle based on first sensor data capturing an environment of the vehicle. The method further includes, while the vehicle is operating according to the planned trajectory, receiving a disengagement instruction associated that causes the vehicle to disengage from operating in the autonomous-driving mode and switch to operating in a disengagement mode. Subsequent to the vehicle operating in the disengagement mode, the method further includes capturing second sensor data and generating a simulation of the environment. The simulation is based on sensor data associated with the environment and the planned trajectory. Additionally, subsequent to the vehicle operating in the disengagement mode, the method concludes with evaluating a performance of an autonomy system based on the simulation, and providing feedback based on the evaluation.
