  • Patent number: 11922107
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that map quantum circuits to physical qubits of a quantum computer. Techniques are disclosed to generate a graph that characterizes the physical qubits of the quantum computer and to compute the resource requirements of each circuit of the quantum circuits. For each circuit, the graph is searched for a subgraph that matches the resource requirements of the circuit, based on a density matrix. Physical qubits, defined by the matching subgraph, are then allocated to the logical qubits of the circuit.

  • Patent number: 11922416
Abstract: An atomtronics station and a cloud-based server cooperate to provide Bose-Einstein condensates as a service (ATaaS). The atomtronics station serves as a system for implementing “recipes” for producing, manipulating, and/or using atomtronic devices based on cold atoms that are, in some respects, analogous to classical electronic devices based on electricity. The cloud-based server acts as an interface between the station (or stations) and authorized users of account holders. To this end the server hosts an account manager and a session manager. The account manager manages accounts and associated account-based and user-specific permissions that define what actions any given authorized user for an account may perform with respect to an atomtronics station. The session manager controls (in some cases, real-time) interactions between a user and an atomtronics station, some interactions allowing a user to select a recipe based on results returned earlier in the same session.

  • Patent number: 11923654
Abstract: Described herein are one or more methods for integrating an optical component into an integrated photonics device. The die including a light source, an outcoupler, or both, may be bonded to a wafer having a cavity. The die can be encapsulated using an insulating material, such as an overmold, that surrounds its edges. Another (or the same) insulating material can surround conductive posts. Portions of the die, the overmold, and optionally, the conductive posts can be removed using a grinding and polishing process to create a planar top surface. The planar top surface enables flip-chip bonding and an improved connection to a heat sink. The process can continue with forming one or more additional conductive layers and/or insulating layers and electrically connecting the p-side and n-side contacts of the laser to a source.

  • Patent number: 11922122
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to systems and methods for detecting emerging events. In various examples, a method for detecting emerging events includes obtaining communication data associated with communication between multiple sources, segmenting communication data into multiple segments, determining whether a data segment belongs to a familiar topic or none, and generating a notification when a familiar topic is mentioned for more or less than a mention prediction. Additionally, or alternatively, a notification may be generated when an unfamiliar topic emerges from a set of unfamiliar data segments if an associated segment count exceeds a critical mass threshold. To determine whether a data segment belongs to a familiar topic, the data segment may be transformed into a feature vector and mapped onto a feature space, where a distance-based similarity score may be determined.
