  • Patent number: 7760341
Abstract: Systems and methods for in-situ reflectivity degradation monitoring of optical collectors used in extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography processes are described. In one embodiment, a method comprises providing a semiconductor lithography tool employing an EUV source optically coupled to a collector within a vacuum chamber, the collector providing an intermediate focus area, measuring a first signal at the EUV source, measuring a second signal at the intermediate focus area, comparing the first and second signals, and monitoring a reflectivity parameter of the collector based upon the comparison. In another embodiment, a method comprises emitting a signal from a non-EUV light source optically coupled to the collector, measuring a signal reflected by the collector, and monitoring a reflectivity parameter of the collector based upon a comparison between the emitted and measured signals.

  • Patent number: 7758720
Abstract: A chip pretreatment process which comprises conveying the feed material through a compression screw device having an atmosphere of saturated steam at a pressure above about 5 psig, decompressing and discharging the compressed material from the screw device into a decompression region, feeding the decompressed material from the decompression region into a fiberizing device, such as a low intensity disc refiner, where at least about 30 percent of the fiber bundles and fibers are axially separated, without substantial fibrillation of the fibers. In a more specific form the invention is directed to a process for producing mechanical pulp, including the steps of fiberizing wood chip feed material in a low intensity disc refiner until at least about 30 percent of the fibers are axially separated with less than about 5 percent fibrillation, and subsequently refining the fiberized material in a high intensity disc refiner until at least about 90 percent of the fibers are fibrillated.

  • Patent number: 7760717
Abstract: An interface switch which presents itself as switch to an enterprise fabric formed of the devices from the same manufacturer as the interface switch and that of a host or node to an enterprise fabric from a different manufacturer. This allows each enterprise fabric to remain in a higher performance operating mode. The multiplexing of multiple streams of traffic between the N_ports on the first enterprise fabric and the second enterprise fabric is accomplished by N_port Virtualization. The interface switch can be connected to multiple enterprise fabrics. All control traffic address mappings between virtual and physical addresses may be mediated and translated by the CPU of the interface switch and address mappings for data traffic performed at wire speed. Since the interface switch may preferably be a single conduit between the enterprise fabrics, it is also a good point to enforce perimeter defenses against attacks.

  • Patent number: 7761507
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for sharing images and chat text over a network. A determination is made as to whether a first user of a first terminal has changed focus from a first image to a second image during a chat session conducted with a second user of a second terminal. At least partly in response to determining that the first user of the first terminal has changed focus from the first image to the second image, \a second image identifier is automatically sent to the second terminal. Chat text is transmitted from the first terminal to the second terminal. The second terminal accesses the second image using the second image identifier, and displays the chat text in association with the second image.

  • Patent number: 7756887
Abstract: A method and system of modulating search result relevancy use various types of user browsing activities. In particular, a client assistant residing in a client computer monitors movements of a user controlled pointer in a web browser, e.g., when the pointer moves into a predefined region and when it moves out of the predefined region. A server then determines a relevancy value between an informational item associated with the predefined region and a search query according to the pointer hover period. When preparing a new search result responsive to a search query, the server re-orders identified informational items in accordance with their respective relevancy values such that more relevant items appear before less relevant ones. The server also uses the relevancy values to determine and/or adjust the content of an one-box result associated with a search query.

  • Patent number: 7752953
Abstract: A system for neutralizing a buried mine includes a laser that is configured to generate laser energy that communicates through the covering ground material and accesses the mine in a manner sufficient to neutralize the mine. Neutralization can occur by deflagration or detonation. The laser includes a solid-state lasing medium that is run substantially uncooled during the lasing run. Namely, the lasing medium is operated without cooling until the lasing medium reaches a temperature where thermal population in a lower laser level begins to significantly lower inversion density. Following completion of the lasing run, the lasing medium is cooled at a rate limited only by a thermal stress fracture level of the lasing medium. Operation of the laser in this manner permits the laser to deliver high-irradiance, high-repetition rate pulses according to a burst mode operation that successfully accomplishes neutralization in a desired time period.

  • Patent number: RE41441
Abstract: A maskable data output buffer includes an output stage receiving data signals from a data coder. The signals output from the data coder are normally complementary data signals corresponding to complementary data input signals. However, in response to receiving a mask signal, the data coder forces the output signals to be other than complementary. The output stage normally generates a data output signal corresponding to the complementary data input signals. However, when the data input signals are other than complementary, the output of the output stage assumes a high impedance condition. Since the timing of the high impedance condition is determined from the data signals themselves, the timing of the mask operation is inherently properly timed to the output of the data from the data output buffer.
