  • Patent number: 11803332
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods related to a controller for managing sideband communications are described. A controller includes a front end portion, a central controller portion, a back end portion, and a management unit can manage a first type of memory device that operates according to a first set of timing characteristics and a second type of memory device that operates according to a second set of timing characteristics. The controller can provide an additional layer of encryption or decryption for sideband communications between the host and the memory devices connected to the controller. The front end portion receives sideband communications through an interface and is stored by a cache memory within the central controller portion which also comprises an auxiliary security component to encrypt the sideband communications. The back end portion provides a route to the memory devices and the management unit applies the encryption or decryption to the sideband communication.

  • Patent number: 11803784
Abstract: A system and method in which various sensors collect and/or generate data that are analyzed to provide automated transit features. In the automatic capacity management feature, a transit operator is alerted of potential capacity issues in advance to enable the operator to handle the situation before a station or a vehicle reaches its capacity limit. The automatic trip planning feature allows a passenger to dynamically plan the fastest route to a destination according to real time data and historical data trends. The automatic fraud detection feature alerts a fare inspector to a ticket fraud or other fraudulent activity at a specific transit station or on a specific transit vehicle. The automatic vehicle routing feature dynamically routes autonomous transit vehicles to stations, notifies transit vehicle drivers to stop at a particular station, and/or notifies transit operators to route a vehicle to a particular station based on current and historical demand from passengers.

  • Patent number: 11804817
Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods that allow for correcting a residual frequency offset in the GHz frequency range by using low-complexity analog circuit implementations of a broad-band frequency detector that comprises two analog polyphase filters in a dual configuration. Each filter comprises an RC network of cross-coupled capacitors that facilitate filters with opposite passbands and opposite stop-bands. In various embodiments, the outputs of the two filters are combined to obtain power metrics that when subtracted from each other, deliver a measure of the imbalance between the positive and negative halves of a frequency spectrum. Since the measure is substantially proportional to a frequency offset within a linear range spanning 5 GHz or more, the polyphase filters may be used in a broad-band frequency detector that, based on the measure, adjusts the frequency offset.

  • Patent number: 11803885
Abstract: A process generates a certificate of authenticity for a virtual item. Further, the process sends, with the processor, the certificate of authenticity to a decentralized network of computing devices such that two or more of the computing devices store the certificate of authenticity. The two or more of the computing devices receive, from a user device that provides a virtual reality experience in which a virtual item is purchased, a request for authentication of the certificate of authenticity. In addition, the two or more computing devices authenticate the certificate of authenticity based on one or more consistency criteria for the certificate of authenticity being met by the two or more computing devices.

  • Patent number: 11805019
Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for segmenting and grouping a plurality of network nodes into one or more clusters. Content may be delivered from a transmitting user node to a receiving user node based on which cluster the receiving user node resides. The grouping of the clusters may be dynamically updated in real-time based on user activity data. Such user activity data may be collected from both a transmitting user node (e.g., server) and a receiving user node (e.g., user device) to map the delivery of a relevant communication. Advantageously, a transmitting user may deliver content to other relevant users and a receiving user may receive content from other relevant users.

  • Patent number: 11805027
Abstract: A serverless computing system is configured to provide access to a machine learning model by at least associating an endpoint, comprising code that accesses the machine learning model, with an extension that interfaces between a serverless compute architecture and the endpoint. A request to perform an inference is received by the system and processed by using the serverless compute architecture to execute a compute function. The compute function cases the extension to interface with the endpoint to cause the machine learning model to perform the inference.
