  • Patent number: 10116839
Abstract: Methods and systems for camera movement compensation for gesture detection and object recognition. In some examples, the methods and systems analyze motion data associated with the sequential frames of a video stream, and reject those frames where the detected camera movement exceeds a predetermined threshold. In other examples, the methods and systems use motion data and portions of immediate previous frames to adjust a frame where the detected camera movement exceeds the predetermined threshold to create an adjusted frame that compensates for the detected camera movement. In still other examples, frames are adjusted if the detected motion exceeds a first threshold, and rejected if the detected motion exceeds a second, higher threshold.

  • Patent number: 10110794
Abstract: A camera device includes multiple sensors with each sensor including an integrated multi-element filter. Because of the use of different filters in different sensors, a wide variety of filter patterns can be supported in a single camera device without the need for moveable or otherwise changeable filters. While multiple optical chains and sensors are included which sensors are used during a given time period are determined based on the whether a power save mode of operation is active and/or the image capture mode being used. Fewer optical chains are used during power save mode for capturing images corresponding to the image mode in use, e.g., color, IR, or monochrome. While the camera device may include a large number of optical modules, e.g., 4, 10 or more, in some embodiments sensors of optical chains not selected for use during a given time period are intentionally powered down to conserve power.

  • Patent number: 10110418
Abstract: A service control system manages a set of containers operating within one or more computing hosts. Containers may access a consistent runtime environment regardless which cloud provider the computing hosts come from. Each computing host also runs a control plane agent that interacts with the service control system to provide a set of services to the containers on the computing host and connect the containers to an overlay network of the service control system. The service control system thus may provide networking, firewall, storage, and load balancing services to the various containers. This permits a set of heterogeneous computing hosts to provide consistent services regardless of the underlying computing resources and containers that are managed by the service control system.
