  • Patent number: 12289324
Abstract: A network incident summarization and visualization tool presents a summarized or filtered rendering of an analysis or narrative of a collection of events gathered from a stream of incident reports. A graph structure stores entities and relationships between network entities in a graph form based on temporal correspondence between different incidents. An evaluation of the entities and the relationships implements a scoring methodology that identifies the most significant incidents based on the entities and component groups of entities associated by a sequence of relationships. The scoring methodology provides a normalized score that is filtered based on a threshold that removes entities having little to no correspondence or effect. The resulting filtered rendering defines a graph of entities and relationships ordered by type and significance such that the most important aspects of the rendered narrative are apparent.

  • Patent number: 12275637
Abstract: Nano-electromechanical systems (NEMS) sensor devices that utilize thin electrically conductive membranes, which can be, for example, graphene membranes. The NEMS devices can have a trough shape (such as a serpentine shape arrangement) of the electrically conductive membrane. The thin, electrically conductive membrane has membrane-structures disposed upon it in an array of cavities. These membrane structures are between the thin, electrically conductive membrane and the main membrane trace. Such an arrangement increases the sensitivity of the NEMS sensor device. The electrically conductive membrane can be controllably wicked down on the edge of the oxide cavity to increase the sensitivity of the NEMS sensor device. Such NEMS sensor devices include NEMS sensor devices that are well suited to applications that measure magnetic fields that, operate below 10 kHz, such as brain-computer interfaces.

  • Patent number: 12264536
Abstract: A motorized roller shade configured to connect to a power over Ethernet network includes a motor for rotating the shade to roll and unroll shade material to and from a roller tube to raise and lower the shade. A rechargeable battery positioned in the roller tube provides power to the motor and to logic and control circuitry also positioned within the roller tube. The logic and control circuitry charges the battery though power derived from the power over Ethernet network, and controls the operation of the motor to achieve a desired target velocity. Synchronized operation of multiple motorized roller shades is achieved though autonomous operation of the shades by their corresponding logic and control circuitry. In exemplary embodiments, a lighting element controlled by the logic and control circuitry allows controlled lighting of the shade.

  • Patent number: 12261639
Abstract: A wireless communication is proposed that utilizes a large available bandwidth (e.g., 10-100,000 MHz) and employs a combination of frequency shifting (from an input RF signal to an IF signal) and frequency hopping from one IF frequency value to another within the available bandwidth. The combination of frequency shifting and frequency hopping adds a level of noise mitigation moving the transmission frequency as a function of time (and avoiding frequencies known to be subject to noise). By its nature, the addition of frequency hopping frustrates the ability of outsiders to access transmissions. A map of frequencies to be used may be delivered to both the transmitter and receiver via a separate command/control signal path. Alternatively, a transmitter may develop the map and forward it to the receiver. The frequency hopping sequence is preferably a randomly-generated sequence that uses the entire available bandwidth.
