Patent number: 12261639Abstract: A wireless communication is proposed that utilizes a large available bandwidth (e.g., 10-100,000 MHz) and employs a combination of frequency shifting (from an input RF signal to an IF signal) and frequency hopping from one IF frequency value to another within the available bandwidth. The combination of frequency shifting and frequency hopping adds a level of noise mitigation moving the transmission frequency as a function of time (and avoiding frequencies known to be subject to noise). By its nature, the addition of frequency hopping frustrates the ability of outsiders to access transmissions. A map of frequencies to be used may be delivered to both the transmitter and receiver via a separate command/control signal path. Alternatively, a transmitter may develop the map and forward it to the receiver. The frequency hopping sequence is preferably a randomly-generated sequence that uses the entire available bandwidth.Type: GrantFiled: September 4, 2024Date of Patent: March 25, 2025Assignee: Doodle Labs LLCInventors: Nimesh D. Patent number: 12261953Abstract: A smart communication system including a stream processor, a plurality of inputs that are time stamped with times from a chip scaled atomic clock, and a plurality of functional blocks implemented in non-transitory computer-readable mediums. The plurality of functional blocks include an encrypted private distributed ledger block, a fusion engine block, a hashing block, and a predictive analytics block. The plurality of inputs are hashed by the hashing block to produce hashed inputs and the hashed inputs are posted into the encrypted private distributed ledger block as a hash table. The predictive analytics block processes the hash table based upon a predetermined criteria for a particular user or based upon a predictive analytics determined criteria of the particular user to produce a data subset for the particular user. The fusion engine block organizes the data subset for the particular user into an organized data subset.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2023Date of Patent: March 25, 2025Assignee: PARRY LABS LLCInventor: Justin Nathaniel Hudson

Patent number: 12255451Abstract: Distributed grid intelligence can enable a modular power grid. Multiple consumer nodes are coupled to a same point of common coupling (PCC). Local power sources are coupled to the PCC. None of the power sources has sufficient generation capacity alone to meet peak demand of the multiple consumer nodes of the grid segment. The grid segment includes multiple control nodes to control distribution of power from the power sources to the multiple consumer nodes based on power demand from the multiple consumer nodes and based on operation of the other power sources. Thus, consumer nodes can share power generated locally, but operate independently without the need for central management or a central power plant, and different independent segments can be coupled to each other to expand the grid network.Type: GrantFiled: July 13, 2022Date of Patent: March 18, 2025Assignee: Apparent Labs, LLCInventors: Stefan Matan, Fred C. Patent number: 12254697Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for monitoring events using a Virtual Inductive Loop system. In some implementations, image data is obtained from cameras. A region depicted in the obtained image data is identified, the region comprising lines spaced by a distance that satisfies a distance threshold. For each line included in the region: an object depicted crossing the line is determined whether to satisfy a height criteria indicating that the line is activated. In response to determining that an object depicted crossing the line satisfies the height criteria, an event is determined to have likely occurred using data indicating (i) which lines of the lines were activated and (ii) an order in which each of the lines were activated. In response to determining that an event likely occurred, actions are performed using at least some of the data.Type: GrantFiled: July 12, 2022Date of Patent: March 18, 2025Assignee: ObjectVideo Labs, LLCInventors: Narayanan Ramanathan, Allison Beach, Robert S.
