Abstract: A dental implant with a straight cylindrically shaped upper end finishing off in a hexagonal projection, with both being axially perforated in alignment with the screw-threaded stem. The perforation does not exceed the lower end of the cylindrical portion and the screw-threaded stem can be made with an appreciably smaller diameter than the conventional one. The apical (apexial) end of the stem is conical and is finished off by a small chamfer or bevel. This favours reaching the cortical area of the bone, increasing the guarantees of its immobility, as well as performing a better crushing and grinding of the bone.
