Abstract: A method and system for generating user-accessible effects. The method includes receiving a library of operators, each operator including a set of operations performable on an image. The method includes receiving an effect definition from a designer via a graphical user interface, wherein the effect definition includes a set of operators from the library to be executed on a user-provided image and parameters associated with each operator. The method includes saving the effect definition to an accessible memory. The method includes uploading the effect definition to a servers wherein the effect definition is accessible to a user over a network.
