Abstract: The invention relates to a mould container for an apparatus for manufacturing green bricks from clay for the brick manufacturing industry, wherein mould containers are arranged on a circulating conveyor, which mould containers comprise a number of mould cavities open to the top, wherein the mould container comprises a fixed mould container part with mould cavities and an exchangeable mould container part such that green bricks of differing dimensions can be made simultaneously.

Abstract: An apparatus for transporting rows of products that includes a supply device for supplying rows of products; a first transport device for transporting the rows of products through a certain distance in a first transporting direction, wherein each row of products is supported by a carrier; a sliding device for displacing the rows of products relative to the carrier; and a second transport device for transporting the displaced rows of products in a second transporting direction. The distance between adjacent carriers in the first transporting direction is smaller during the transport than the dimensions of the products. The sliding device is adapted to displace the rows of products parallel to the first transporting direction such that a row of displaced products rests on two adjacent carriers. The second transport device is adapted to lift the displaced rows of products from the carriers.

Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for manufacturing green bricks from clay for the brick manufacturing industry. The apparatus includes a circulating conveyor carrying mould containers combined to mould container parts, a reservoir for clay arranged above the mould containers, a mechanism for carrying clay out of the reservoir into the mould containers, a mechanism for pressing and trimming clay in the mould containers, a mechanism for supplying and placing take-off plates for the green bricks and a mechanism for discharging green bricks released from the mould containers. The apparatus further includes a mechanism for moving the mould container parts filled with green bricks such that a protruding edge is formed on at least one side of the green bricks.

Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing green bricks for the brick manufacturing industry includes mould containers which are placed on a chain conveyor and which are provided with movable bottoms. The green bricks are released by displacing the bottom of the mould containers. According to the invention the mould containers are combined to a mould container part and coupled to a chain part connectable to the chain. During exchange of mould containers the chain part remains coupled to the chain conveyor while the mould container part can be rapidly uncoupled and exchanged.

Abstract: An endless conveyor having a plurality of molding tray supports is mounted on an intermittently indexing turntable. A press of the type adapted to form the clay into lumps deposits these lumps into molding trays on the conveyor, and thereafter the trays pass successively through a series of stations where the loaded trays are trimmed, where the loaded trays are tilted, and where the moldings are dropped onto carrying pallets and stations for washing, drying, and sanding of the empty trays and a station for tilting the molding trays back to the filling position. The tray supports are tiltably mounted about radial axes to enable tilting of the trays and a device for supplying the pallets for the empty trays and for the discharge of the pallets loaded with moldings extends diametrically underneath the turntable adjacent the unloading station.

Abstract: A frame is swingably mounted to a stationary support above an indexing mold tray conveyor. Mounted to the frame is a clay supply device comprising an extruder and a pair of mutually facing belts having vertical runs. Lumps of clay are extruded and deposited by the facing belts in the tray cavities on the tray conveyor.
