Abstract: A method for maintaining the connection between a terminal and a network server is described. The terminal has a first processing unit with a first state and a second state, wherein the power consumption of the second state is less than the power consumption of the first state. When the first processing unit is in the second state, the terminal or the network server sends heartbeat data packets periodically in order to maintain the connection between said terminal and said network server. During the period that the terminal or the network server sends a periodic heartbeat data packet, a main processor of the terminal will not be woken up Thus, the terminal in a sleep state can maintain connection with the network server, and not be woken up due to the heartbeat data packets sent by the network server, which reduces the power consumption of the terminal.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for managing buttons on a taskbar are disclosed. The method is applied to the system with a first window and a second window, wherein, the first window is corresponding to a first button on the taskbar and has a first application program identifier, and the second window is corresponding to a second button on the taskbar and has a second application program identifier. The method comprises: a management command is received (S110); the second application program identifier and the first application program identifier are set to be equal according to the management command (S120); and the first button and the second button with the equal application program identifiers are combined on the taskbar forming a third button (S130). With the embodiments of the present invention, upon detection of an input operation, a window control operation can be performed on at least two opened windows to change the sizes and locations of at least two opened windows simultaneously. Abstract: The present invention discloses a multi-mode coexistence method of a multi-mode communication device comprising steps of: setting priorities of frequency usage for all modes supported by the multi-mode communication device; determining a channel where a signal of a lower priority mode are interfered with by that of a higher priority mode; performing frequency hopping to outside said determined channel by the lower priority mode. The invention allows signals of various modes to coexist in the multi-mode communication device without modifying the existing RF reception system, and thus reduces the system cost and implementation complexity.
