Publication number: 20140117020Abstract: The fillable closure is used to trigger the emptying of a capsule that can be inserted in the closure and filled separately. The closure consists of a closing cap which can be attached to the neck of a container and in which a separately fillable capsule can be inserted in the closed state from beneath. The region above the inserted capsule on the closing cap forms a push button. A downwardly projecting protuberance is molded on the lower face. The protuberance abuts against the inserted capsule. Using pressure from above, the push button can be pressed to deform an initially convex shape as seen from above into a concave shape, the protuberance pushing the upper face of the capsule and the content thereof downward. A film, which forms the lower face of the capsule, is thus placed under tensile stress such that it breaks or bursts along weakened lines.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 1, 2012Publication date: May 1, 2014Applicants: BELCAP SWITZERLAND AG, RIWISA AGInventors: Fritz Seelhofer, Wolfgang Zangerle

Patent number: 8672154Abstract: The fillable closure with a triggering pushbutton comprises a filler neck (3) that is to be screwed onto or joined to a container neck (4) as well as a closure cap (1) which is associated to the filler neck (3) and can be joined, pivoted and snapped-on the filler neck (3) by means of a hinge connection. A separately fillable container (2) can be inserted into the filler neck (3), the container being closed at the bottom with a sealing foil (19) that can be pierced or cut open. The closure cap (1) comprises a cap cover as a pusher disc (7), which can be pressed downward in the axial direction while deforming. By pressing the cap cover downward on the container (2) inserted in the filler neck or on a rigid opening element accommodated therein, the opening element can be pressed downward so that the sealing foil (19) of the container (2) can be pierced and cut open.Type: GrantFiled: January 19, 2009Date of Patent: March 18, 2014Assignees: Belcap Switzerland AG, RIWISA AGInventor: Fritz Seelhofer

Patent number: 8511465Abstract: The closure includes a rotary dispenser cap (1), and is used for metering of a component in the content of a so-equipped mixing vessel (17) before use. It contains a separately filled folding container (3) which is held on its lower side by resilient spacer elements (7) over stationary piercing teeth (8) and which is pusable downword by means of rotating the rotary dispenser cap (1) which will screw down the press ring (2) and press the container (3) over the piercing teeth (8). The folding container (3) is thereby torn open. By further screwing down of the pressing ring (2), the folding container (3) is being squeezed and pressed out, so that its contents are mixed in the underlying container (17).Type: GrantFiled: December 10, 2008Date of Patent: August 20, 2013Assignee: Belcap Switzerland AGInventor: Fritz Seelhofer

Patent number: 8393491Abstract: The neck closure has a wedge-shaped hollow neck with lips formed on the front wedge edge by converging wedge surfaces, the lips being connected to form a one-piece closed lip by a thin section, and having a cover cap that can be placed over the neck. When the cover cap is in place, the front region of the wedge-shaped neck is held in a position that has been rotated through at least 5 DEG in a clockwise direction, viewed from above, in relation to its normal unstressed position, as a result of the inner moulding of the cover cap. When the cover cap is rotated anti-clockwise, from this closed position, force is only applied to the front wedge edge region of the neck by pressure surfaces projecting from the inner face of the cover cap at diametrically opposed points on said front wedge edge region.Type: GrantFiled: April 19, 2007Date of Patent: March 12, 2013Assignee: Belcap Switzerland AGInventor: Fritz Seelhofer

Patent number: 8028860Abstract: The liquid-containing bag is produced integrally from two sheets (4; 5) which are welded to on another along the edge region (3), and the bag forms two chambers (6; 7) which are separated from one another by a separating strip (8). A drinking or dispensing spout (2) is welded with sealing action in the separating strip (8), in which case this connects the two chambers (6, 7) in the open state, the one bag chamber (6) being intended for receiving the liquid, while the other bag chamber (7), as a protective chamber, encompasses the outer spout end (9) and encloses the same with sealing action.Type: GrantFiled: November 23, 2006Date of Patent: October 4, 2011Assignee: Belcap Switzerland AGInventor: Fritz Seelhofer

Patent number: 7934624Abstract: The invention serves to simultaneously pour out two separate liquids with a specified quantitative ratio from a container. To this end, a separate container is located inside said container. The container closure forms a mouth cap (1). This tapers upward conically into a straight concentric spout (2) with an interior space (11). A larger, closeable spout neck (4) having a projection (5) that radially projects at the bottom is placed concentrically around the straight spout (2) of the mouth cap (1). This projection (5) is supported with supporting braces (6) an the shoulder (7) formed by the conical taper. A flow opening (9), which encircles up to the supporting braces (6), is left open between the shoulder (7) and the inside edge (8) of the projection (5) and of the larger spout neck (4). The supporting braces (6) and the radial projection (5) are each passed through by a borehole (10) that communicate with the inside of the mouth cap (1) and with the space (16) outside the larger spout neck (4).Type: GrantFiled: November 7, 2006Date of Patent: May 3, 2011Assignee: Belcap Switzerland AGInventor: Fritz Seelhofer

Publication number: 20100288766Abstract: The closure is used for the metered addition of a liquid substance packaged separately in this closure in an aseptic manner into a container (26) equipped therewith, which comprises an outgasing liquid. The closure comprises a connector sleeve (1) and a rotary cap (2) fitting thereon from above in an air-tight manner, wherein the connector sleeve (1) forms a cup (7) that fits in the connector (5) of the container to be equipped. In the cup, a liquid substance is accommodated, enclosed in oxygen-tight capsules (17). The cup bottom (8) has an opening (9), which is dimensioned such that when the pressure is the same above and below the opening, the aseptically packaged liquid substance does not flow through the opening (9).Type: ApplicationFiled: January 9, 2009Publication date: November 18, 2010Applicant: BELCAP SWITZERLAND AGInventor: Fritz Seelhofer

Publication number: 20090101618Abstract: The closure consists of a lower closure part, which forms a drinking and pouring neck, in addition to a closure cap, which is pivotally connected to the lower closure part by a hinge. The drinking and pouring neck sits in a planar disc, onto which the hinge of the closure cap is formed. Below the disc, the drinking and pouring neck is surrounded by a deformable wall that forms a cone or dome, said wall extending obliquely downwards from the neck and being connected to the outer edge of the lower closure part. The drinking and pouring neck projects beneath the underside of said deformable wall and the lower edge of said neck forms at least two piercing elements. A spacer strip is formed onto the lower edge of the closure cap by means of one or more material bridges that act as predetermined breaking points. The spacer band guarantees that the cap has never been opened.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 19, 2007Publication date: April 23, 2009Applicant: BELCAP SWITZERLAND AGInventor: Fritz Seelhofer
