Abstract: Disclosed herein is a fluid container comprising: a base, having a bottom portion and a side portion, the bottom portion and the side portion being one unitary sheet, and a side wall joined to the base at the side portion and defining an interior volume of the fluid container, the side wall comprising: a first plastic material, an inner wall, an outer wall, at least one inflatable air chamber defined by a volume between the inner wall and the outer wall and substantially continuous throughout the side wall, and at least one air valve disposed on the outer wall and in fluid communication with the at least one inflatable air chamber. Also disclosed herein are methods of making and using the same.

Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments of a frame for a pool that may be installed as a series of beams and frame members, wherein a first beam and a second beam may be configured to connect to a frame member to form a portion of the frame of the pool, wherein the first beam and the second beam may include provisions for attaching to the frame member, wherein the orientation of the first beam may be set relative to the second beam so that a circumference of a pool is formed when the series of beams and frame members are each connected. In some embodiments, the frame member may include a receptacle, an insert, and a pin. In some embodiments, the receptacle may include a first protrusion portion for a first beam and a second protrusion portion for a second beam. In some embodiments, one or more pins may be used to attach the beams to the insert and the receptacle.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for camera mounts. A camera mount may be capable of floating in liquid. A camera mount may include a base mounted to an inflatable; a floating mount, wherein the floating mount is configured to be attachable to a camera; and a pivotable connection that connects the base to the floating mount. The pivotable connection may be configured to float. A camera mount may include a mount or connection for mounting to an inflatable.

Abstract: A connection system to facilitate the mechanical coupling, and the transfer of electrical power between, trunk sections of an artificial tree is disclosed. The connection system can include a mechanical coupling system having a guiding surface and a guiding slot on a first trunk section and a guiding protrusion disposed inside a second trunk section. Insertion of the first trunk section into the second trunk section and thus contact of the guiding protrusion against the guiding surface can cause the first trunk section to rotate relative the second trunk section until a predetermined rotational alignment is reached, aligning electrical contacts of first and second electrical connectors, each of which is attached to an outer wall of a respective trunk section. The electrical contacts of the first and second electrical connectors can establish electrical communication between the first and second electrical connectors, and thus between the first and second trunk sections.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for connecting frame members and beams of a pool. A frame member may be configured to connect to a first beam and a second beam via a connector. The connector may include a recessed portion to mate within one or more of the first beam, the second beam, and/or the frame member. The connector may include a pin to fix the position of at least one of the first beam, the second beam, and/or the frame member. The connector may include internal structures such as an integral support or a support protrusion for structural stability. The connector may include an accessory mount. The connector may include a light source.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods and items for flocking festive goods or holiday decorations, such as trees and wreaths, that reduce the loss of flocking material. The method can include applying a first glue emulsion onto an item, applying one or more layers of flocking material onto the glue emulsion, and applying one of: a second glue emulsion, an acrylic, or acrylic-like substance, over the one or more layers of flocking material. A decorative item can include one or more layers of flocking material, and a layer of: a glue emulsion, an acrylic, and/or acrylic-like substance applied on the one or more layers of flocking material.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are apparatuses for providing light, such as through lighting wiring apparatuses. Some apparatuses may include three wires extending along a similar direction, such as a first component wire, a second component wire, and a return wire. The three wires may have a first and second predominantly terminal section, and the first predominantly terminal section of the first component wire may be connected to the first predominantly terminal section of the second component wire near the first end of the apparatus. The second predominantly terminal sections of the three wires may be connected near the second end of the apparatus and a plurality of diodes may be connected to the first component wire and the second component wire at periodic distances.

Abstract: Disclosed is an artificial tree having a plurality of electrified tree sections that couple together to provide power and/or command signals to devices connected thereto. One or more tree sections may have a trunk portion, one or more electrical connectors having a plurality of terminals, branches, a light string, and an electrical distribution system located at least partially within the trunk portion. A first tree section may be configured to couple to a second tree section such that an electrical connector of the first tree section is in electrical connection with an electrical connector of the second tree section, thereby mechanically and electrically connecting the first tree section to the second tree section such that power and/or the control data are transmitted to the second tree section. Further, each trunk segment may include an axial electrical connector that permits adjacent trunk segments to connect in a plurality of radial orientations relative to each other.

The system provides a pool pump comprising an outlet and an inlet. The inlet may connect to a first inlet hose. The first inlet hose may connect the pool pump to a three-way connection to the pool. The three-way connection may connect the first inlet hose to a second inlet hose and be in fluid connection with an interior of the pool. In some embodiments, the three-way connection may be attached to the pool.

Abstract: A joint for an above-ground pool frame is disclosed. A variety of above-ground pool types are considered. Above-ground pools must be assembled before use and disassembled after use in a lengthy and time-consuming process to be stored properly and maintain modularity. The presently disclosed joint can ease the assembly and disassembly processes. The pool can comprise a plurality of joints configured to join at least the two or more horizontal support members through insertion. The presently disclosed joint can comprise at least a portion cutaway configured to laterally receive at least one horizontal support member from two or more horizontal support members. The presently disclosed joint can also be configured to receive at least one vertical support member. This and other embodiments are disclosed herein.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a pool cleaning device having filtering and pumping capabilities. Some embodiments of the disclosed device can be unencumbered by hoses, cables, and the like when in use in the pool. The device may be buoyant and can be configured to float at or just below the surface of the water. The device can comprise a strainer, a pump, a housing for the strainer and pump, and one or more floatation devices. Such a design may allow for a floating skimmer and pump with no need for installation in a side wall. In some embodiments, the device can further comprise a pre-filter. For example, in some embodiments, the strainer and filter can remove large objects and particulates, respectively, before the water passes through the pump. As disclosed in some embodiments, various components of the device may be removeable and replaceable to extend the lifetime of the device.
