Abstract: A Bluetooth low energy (BLE)-based beacon device includes a wireless transmitter, a memory device that stores an ID of the BLE-based beacon device, a switch, and a control circuit that senses the switch being pressed, changes a state of the BLE-based beacon device from an idle state to a wakeup state based on a result of the sensing, determines whether a predetermined period of time has elapsed, and changes the state of the BLE-based beacon device from the wakeup state to the idle state when the predetermined period of time has elapsed. The control circuit transmits the ID stored in the memory device to the wireless transmitter only while the BLE-based beacon device is in the wakeup state.

Abstract: A method of accessing a web page using a near field communication (NFC) tag is provided. The method includes receiving a tag ID from the NFC tag using an application program installed in a mobile terminal, the application program transmitting the tag ID to a first ID search engine, the application program receiving a uniform resource locator (URL) of a management system corresponding to the tag ID from the first ID search engine, the application program accessing the management system using the URL of the management system and requesting a URL of the web page from the management system, the application program receiving the URL of the web page from the management system, and the application program accessing the web page using the URL of the web page.

Abstract: A method for providing a communication service includes receiving, by an operation server, a first tag ID of a first NFC tag through a first mobile terminal, receiving, by the operation server, a second tag ID of a second NFC tag through a second mobile terminal and checking whether the first and second mobile terminals are present in the same space using the first tag ID and the second tag ID, and forming, by the operation server, a communication space so that the first and second mobile terminals communicate messages with each other through the operation server in real time only when the first and second mobile terminals are present in the same space.
