Abstract: The invention concerns a plastic closure for fitting on to the neck of a liquid container in positively locking and sealed relationship comprising a head plate (1) provided for covering a container opening and an outer seal (7) which is circumferential along the edge of the head plate (1) and is provided for engagement with the outside of a container neck (20) defining the container opening, and an inner seal (5) which is circumferential within the outer seal (7) and parallel thereto and which is provided for engagement with the inside of the container neck, wherein the outer and the inner seals (7, 5) respectively extend approximately perpendicularly or slightly inclined from an inside (11) of the head plate (1).

Abstract: A screw closure (10) has a screw cap (1) and a tamperproof band (5). The screw cap (1) has a head plate (2) with a cylindrical lateral cap surface (3,provided with an internal thread (4) and wherein the tamperproof band (5) has a flexible band (6) and is connected to the lower periphery of the lateral cap surface (3) via one or more easy-tear elements (7). In order to create a screw closure which has a flexible band and, even with relatively large tolerance deviations between the closure and container neck, still ensures that the tamperproof band can be reliably torn off is thus providing enhanced functional reliability. The flexible band (6) is a continuously encircling flexible band which, distributed over its circumference, has portions (8) which can be extended easily and, therebetween, portions (9) which are less easy to extend.

Abstract: Valve closure for bottles, comprising a valve portion to be fitted on a bottle neck and having a valve stopper and devices for sealed fixing on the bottle neck, an axially movable outer valve portion comprising a head plate, a valve opening for engagement with the valve stopper and a female thread screw cap connected to the head plate, the thread having a nominal radius r in engagement with a male screw thread of a connecting portion connected to the valve stopper. To permit easy opening of the closure with one hand, the screw cap is fixedly connected to an actuating lever extending radially outwardly from the screw cap so that the lever radius R defined by the radially outer end of the actuating lever has a spacing relative to the axis of the screw cap, which is more than 120% than the nominal radius r of the female screw thread.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a screw closure with tamper-proof strip, wherein the screw closure (10) has a tamper-proof strip connected to the lower edge of the cap skirt (2) by way of an easily tearable connection (8). The strip being in the form of a flexible strip (3), comprising a first portion (4) directed downward from the cap skirt (2) and a second portion (5) which is attached at the lower end of the first portion (4), and which is folded over inwardly and back in the direction of the head plate (1). At least one extension (7) is provided in axial extension of the second portion (5), the extension being attached to the outer free edge of the inwardly folded-over second portion (5), and leaving the inner edge thereof free. The second portion has at least one recess and extends along the inner circumference of the screw closure.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a closure (10) consisting of a cap portion (1), a retaining ring (3), a tear strip and a snap hinge (20), the snap hinge connecting the cap portion and the retaining ring in a single piece along a first circumferential section, wherein the cap portion (1) has a top plate (14) and the closure having overall a substantially cylindrical or slightly tapered closure skirt which, inter alia, comprises a substantially cylindrical cap skirt and the retaining ring (3), wherein the snap hinge (20) is integrated into the skirt and wherein the retaining ring (3) and the cap portion (1), in addition to being connected via the snap hinge (20), are also connected together along a second circumferential section (30) via the tear strip (4) which is also integrated into the skirt.

Abstract: A plastic screw closure for bottles comprising a cap having a substantially cylindrical peripheral portion (1) with an internal screw thread (8) for screwing onto an external screw thread (11) of a bottle neck (10), and with a disc-like top plate portion (2). A substantially cylindrical sealing strip (4) which extends axially from the inside of the top plate portion (2) has an outside diameter at least equal to the bottle neck's outside diameter (D) and an inside diameter (2r2) smaller than the bottle neck's outside diameter (D). Inside the cylindrical sealing strip (4), a further, substantially cylindrical sealing olive-shaped button (3) is radially fitted, the outside diameter (2R1) of which, at least in the area near the top plate and opposite the sealing strip (4), is larger than the inside diameter (d) of the bottle neck (10).
