Abstract: An edge trimmer for removing excess edgebanding includes a retainer plate and a guide rail which assemble to hold a beveled, single-edged cutting blade. The retainer plate has a slot to accommodate and guide the excess edgebanding. In addition, the retainer plate has a recessed blade tray which receives the cutting blade and spans at least a portion of the slot. A removable fastener holds the retainer plate and guide rail together.
