  • Publication number: 20100313804
Abstract: An embroidery hoop (1) for a sewing machine or embroidery machine having two hoop parts, namely the lower hoop part (3) and the upper hoop part (5). The two hoop parts (3, 5) are connected to each other by a hinge that can be released without the use of tools. The embroidery material is clamped between the inner hinge element (9) on the lower hoop part (3) and the outer hinge element (15) on the upper hoop part (5). Through this measure, an embroidery material can be embroidered at any position.

  • Publication number: 20100206207
Abstract: A locking device having a connection element (11) that is securely connected to the hook base (1) but can rotate is provided. On the connection element (11), a coil spring (17) is supported that is compressed after setting the bobbin case (5) on or in the hook base (1). Through a slight tilting movement, the bobbin case (5) or the bobbin (7) could be pushed and guided over the connection element (11) and then held by the force of the spring (17) in the locking position.

  • Publication number: 20100050915
Abstract: A device for cutting textile and non-textile sheet materials with a sewing machine having a turning device (9) that can be mounted on the lower end of the needle bar (5). A cutting needle (23) is inserted from below into the turning device (9) instead of a sewing needle and can be brought into the desired cutting position, for example, by a fin (17) that projects from the turning device (9).

  • Patent number: 7562475
Abstract: A tensioning device (11) is arranged on an embroidery hoop (1), which allows the tensioning of the outer frame (3) with a turning knob (33). For protection from damage, a ratchet (37) is inserted in the turning knob (33) and for simple opening after the end of the embroidery process, a free wheel (45) is inserted.

  • Patent number: 7536963
Abstract: A monitoring device (15) for monitoring the needle thread (9) on a sewing machine (1) is provided which includes a regulator spring (25) with at least one cam switch (39) being connected thereto in a rotational manner. In case of changing thread tension and/or thread consumption the cam switch (39) and/or the detection zones (41) embodied thereat passes through a sensor (45) with two sensor areas (a, b). Here, not only the presence and absence of the cam switch (39) can be detected but also a direction of motion and the speed of motion. From these measurements conclusions can be drawn on various parameters of the needle thread (9).

  • Publication number: 20080115709
Abstract: A communication device and method to operate a sewing machine (1) based on a bidirectional transmission of data between the sewing machine (1), on the one hand, and a radio-controlled object, in particular a foot control (5) or an allocated radio-controlled module (9) are provided. By way of mutual transmission of identification codes, an unambiguous allocation of sewing machine (1) and the respective radio-controlled objects occur.

  • Publication number: 20080114484
Abstract: A method and the device for scaling or changing embroidery patterns (1) for sewing machines that allows a quick calculation of optimized stitching data. For one or more different change factors qj, data sets dj with optimized stitching data (xji, yji) are stored. A target data set z with stitching data changed according to a given change value v is determined by selecting one of the stored data sets dj and performing an extrapolation or an interpolation with the associated stitching data (xji, yji). For a pattern with several sub-patterns, these sub-patterns can be changed individually and combined to form a changed pattern.

  • Publication number: 20080006192
Abstract: A method and the device for displaying sewing processes to allow simulation of the formation of stitch patterns and embroidery patterns in sewing machines (1) and embroidery machines or in sewing simulators close to reality is provided. In the representation on the monitor (3) features, such as colors and the structure of the sewing material (2), are considered. By activating a simulation mode, the drive for the stitch formation unit can be disabled.

  • Publication number: 20070263919
Abstract: A device and the method for detecting objects on sewing machines (1) using one or more color sensors (25) in order to detect the colors of objects or of color marks (26) applied on the objects is provided. Such color marks (26) require only little space and can be applied even on very small parts. In a memory (59) accessible by the sewing machine control (57) clear allocations of colors and the respective objects are stored. According to the detected objects connected to the sewing machine (1), the operation of the sewing machine control (57) can be adjusted.
