Patent number: 9377141Abstract: An adjustable clamp includes a tool-motivated adjustment mechanism. The adjustable clamp includes a head having a base, a top, a front, and first and second sides that define a cavity, and a strap extending from the head having teeth spaced apart a first distance on at least one surface. The first and second sides have openings that allow the strap to extend therethrough. A pair of tabs depend from the head and are spaced apart a second distance, the second distance being about half the first distance. The pair of tabs selectively engage the teeth. An aperture within the head is configured to allow entry of a tool therethrough at a predetermined angle relative to the base to engage the teeth disposed in the cavity such that the rotational movement of a tool in at least one direction selectively changes the position of the strap relative to the head.Type: GrantFiled: May 15, 2014Date of Patent: June 28, 2016Assignee: Builder's Best, Inc.Inventor: John L. Publication number: 20110132972Abstract: A method for manually reattaching solder balls onto a plurality of contact areas arranged in a pattern on a device to be reballed is provided. First, a single use preform with a plurality of solder balls arranged in a pattern corresponding to the pattern of contact areas on the device is provided. The solder balls are held in respective apertures in the preform by an adhesive layer on the preform that defines a closed end of the apertures and are partially exposed on one side of the preform. A solder paste or paste flux is applied to, at least, the contact areas of the device. The device is manually aligned with the exposed solder balls of the preform and the device and the exposed balls of the preform are manually brought into contact. The aligned device and preform are heated to reflow the solder balls onto the land areas of the device. The preform including the adhesive layer is then removed from the device with the solder balls being retained on the device.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 7, 2011Publication date: June 9, 2011Applicant: BEST, INC.Inventors: Robert P. Publication number: 20080021748Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for presenting travel-related products and services to be used by a traveler. A global distribution service maintains records associated with travelers. Each record corresponds to a traveler and contains information corresponding to a destination for that traveler, along with a date or dates corresponding to that destination. The invention receives the record or information contained in the record from the global distribution service for an associated traveler indicating the traveler's destination and corresponding date. Based on the received information, the invention automatically requests travel-related products and services from a number of providers corresponding to the destination and date. The invention then generates a list of the travel-related products and service for purchase by an agent or the traveler for use by the traveler.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 20, 2007Publication date: January 24, 2008Applicant: 10BEST, INC.Inventors: Brice Bay, Kevin Miller, Michael Quattlebaum, William Kellett

Patent number: 6185837Abstract: A vent system has a rotatable connection between flexible conduits, which carry heated air from the dryer to an external location, such as the atmosphere. The vent system consists of a swivel coupler rotatably connecting a pair of flexible exhaust conduits, one of which is readily attachable to a dryer exhaust outlet, which discharges exhaust air from the dryer, and the other of which is readily attachable to an outlet pipe, which carries exhaust air from the flexible exhaust conduit through a wall and to the atmosphere. Each flexible exhaust conduit, which is laterally flexible and axially extensible, includes a segmented elbow allowing bending up to approximately a right angle in one direction. The swivel coupler includes a rotatable joint wherein an annular extension on one half of the connector travels in an annular indentation in the other half so as to enable rotation therebetween.Type: GrantFiled: April 1, 1999Date of Patent: February 13, 2001Assignee: Builder's Best, Inc.Inventor: W.
