Abstract: An improved cord tie device is provided for use in wrapping and storing a coiled electrical power cord or the like. The cord tie device has a substantially unitary construction to include an elongated tie strap having a plurality of resilient strap segments interconnected by a plurality of enlarged and relatively stiff locking disks at spaced intervals along the strap length, and a slotted head forming a lock clasp at one end of the tie strap. The strap is adapted to loop snugly about a coiled electrical cord or the like, with one of the locking disks seated within and engaging the slotted head to retain the electrical cord in a neat stored configuration.
