Abstract: It is hereinafter described a deodorant composition for domestic environments consisting of a mixture of perfume and solubilizing agent incorporated in a support whose main components include a carragenine mixture blended to setting gypsum. The composition in particular includes the following components: carragenine mixture: 1-4% (weight) ethoxylated hydrogenated 40EO castor oil: 4-10% (weight) isothiazolinonic preservative: 0.01-0.08% (weight) setting gypsum: 20-30% (weight) perfume: 5-20% (weight) water: q.s. to 100% (weight).

Abstract: A case for deodorants and the like is equipped with a snap opening and closing mechanism. The case has a base for the product, a guide cylinder that is integral with the base for a sliding cover, and a spring to act of the cover to carry it from a closing position to an opening position. Locks capable of engaging this cover when the latter is respectively in the opening and/or closing position are also provided. A clearing button is capable of disengaging this cover from on of the locks to carry it from a closing position to an opening position.

Abstract: The solid granular deodorant consists of a porous granular CaSO.sub.4.2H.sub.2 O base, a portion of essential oils adsorbed on said porous granular base and microcapsules filled with another portion of the essential oils. The portion of the essential oils adsorbed on the granular base is present in an amount of from 2% to 18% by weight and the other portion of the essential oils in the microcapsules is present in an amount of from 0.5% to 4% by weight. The microcapsules are breakable by impacts, crushing or heating. This granular deodorant is packed in a sealed pouch which has micro-holes on one side covered by a removable, repositionable adhesive tape.
