Abstract: A caddy organizer of collapsible construction for attachment to structures such as doors and walls, the caddy organizer comprising: at least two vertically extending frame members having at least two caddy support members extending therefrom, the caddy support members each having a terminal portion; each of the vertically extending frame members having operably connected thereto a caddy support element; and at least one caddy shelf disposed between the vertically extending frame members, the caddy shelf including a first shelf member having end portions adapted for releasable engagement with the terminal portion of the caddy support members and a second shelf member adapted to rest on the caddy support element of the vertically extending frame member.
Abstract: This invention is directed to caddy devices mountable on non-porous surfaces by means of suction cups which are easily repositioned in all directions. The devices are characterized by streamlined frame portions, support elements for slidably receiving suction cups and recessed covers that conceal the mounting apparatus from plain view. The disclosed configurations insure close attachment of the caddy device to the mounting surface. Stabilizing structures are also provided for the caddy frame. In various illustrated embodiments, the caddy can be a towel ring, toilet tissue holder, storage rack or multipurpose organizer.
Abstract: Adherence of suction cup-supported devices to a wall or other surface is improved by adhesively applying a patch made of a film or sheet of smooth, non-porous material to the wall at places where adherence of the suction cups is desired and then applying a suction cup to the patch. Good adherence of the cup is obtained even to a porous wall.
