  • Patent number: 5630601
Abstract: A collapsible hand trolley includes a frame having manual gripping handles t its upper end, and a support plate at its lower end. A pair of wheel carriers is also mounted on the lower end of the frame. The trolley can be folded to a storage condition by pivoting the wheel carriers about generally vertical axes, and pivoting the support plate about a generally horizontal axis. When the wheel carriers have been unfolded to an operative position, a connection rod pivotably mounted to the frame is pivoted about a generally horizontal axis to a securing position between the wheel carriers in order to pre vent the wheel carriers from moving to their folded positions.

  • Patent number: 5529323
Abstract: A hand-pulled wagon comprises a horizontal bed supported on a frame to wh are attached ground support wheels. The axles of the wheels are attached to sleeves which extend downwardly from the frame. Upper ends of the sleeves are hollow to receive mounting posts affixed to removable side walls. The sleeves extend upwardly no higher than the bed, so that when the side walls are removed, access to the bed is not obstructed by the sleeves. A manual pull rod is attached to the wagon and includes a generally arrow-shaped pull handle designed to minimize discomfort to the user while pulling the wagon.

  • Patent number: 5299816
Abstract: A platform carriage comprises a wheeled load-supporting platform having a rizontal surface. A handle is pivoted at a rear end of the platform to be foldable forwardly onto the platform. The handle comprises a pair of rods interconnected by a cross bar. The cross bar is located below the free upper ends of the bars so that the free rod ends form individual hand grips. Each hand grip is inclined forwardly and laterally inwardly. The handle forms a projection which extends upwardly when the handle is folded over, and a carriage can be stacked thereon such that a recessed mating element on the next upper carriage mates with the projection of the next lower carriage to stabilize the stack of carriages.

  • Patent number: 5014461
Abstract: A stand for holding plants and trees comprises a holder including an upri tubular portion adapted to hold a lower end of a tree trunk, and at least three support legs joined to the tubular portion. The legs are arranged to space a lower end of the tubular portion above a support surface. A water container is positioned beneath the tubular portion. Upper and lower sets of circumferentially spaced fastening screws are disposed in vertically spaced upper and lower planes, respectively, such that radially inner ends of the screws are able to support and align a lower end of a tree trunk. Each fastening screw is disposed approximately midway between two circumferentially adjacent ones of the legs, as the stand is viewed from above.

  • Patent number: 4993727
Abstract: A hand truck comprises a frame having upper and lower frame parts which can be pivoted between folded and unfolded positions. Pivotable locks retain the frame parts in both such positions. A pair of wheel braces are attached to the lower frame part for rotation between folded and unfolded positions. A carrier member is mounted to the lower frame part for rotation between folded and unfolded positions. The carrier member locks the wheel braces in their unfolded positions. The wheel braces carry tires which frictionally engage the carrier member to retain the wheel braces in their folded positions. The portion of the lower frame part which carries the wheel braces and carrier member can be separated from the lower frame part and then rotated ninety degrees before being reattached to the lower frame part in a stored condition.
