Patents Assigned to bielomatik Leuze GmbH + Co.
  • Patent number: 6767404
Abstract: A gluing station for adhesive binding sheet blocks with clamping fixtures for localizing a sheet block with a glue application device, which provides at least one glue application roller that is moveable relative to a block spine by a carriage. Moveable tightening fixtures for slanting the block spine are provided, and the carriage is arranged on a linear carriage track that is inclined at least nearly parallel to the slanted alignment of the block spine. The gluing station may be used for adhesive bindings of books, brochures and other printed products.

  • Patent number: 6588970
Abstract: Two components (2, 3) to be joined to each other by vibration welding form on one or both sides of the bounding seam (10) barrier means (20) including a labyrinth seal. Means (20) retaining attrition particles of the jointing faces (16, 17) in chambers (25, 26, 27) by the attrition particles needing to migrate from chamber to chamber through damming gaps (21, 22) and to be deflected for passage through the next gap in each case. Due to this tortuous arrangement the attrition particles remain totally within the chamber system of the labyrinth seal (20) and do not emerge from between the flanges (8, 9). When the seal (20) is provided between the seam (10) and the inner face (6) of a container, the interior thereof is thus protected from soilage due to attrition particles.

  • Patent number: 6588476
Abstract: The problem of the invention is to provide a material web, comprising a supporting web and information carriers positioned thereon, in which the supporting web is constructed as a continuous web and on which are only located faultless information carriers. According to the invention from one material web are separated at least the faulty information carriers and a uniform sequence of faultless information carriers is produced on a supporting web.

  • Patent number: 6491786
Abstract: A welding head for heated tool welding, particularly of thermoplastic materials. The welding head permits independent heating of the welding point on a body and the welding point on a welding part. The welding head has a gripper for receiving the welding part to be welded to the body. It also has a first welding mirror for heating the welding point on the body. A second welding mirror is used for heating the welding point on the welding part. The first welding mirror and the gripper are placed on a common supporting member, which is displaceable by drive means so that alternately the first welding mirror and the gripper are oriented towards the welding point on the body.

  • Patent number: 6488793
Abstract: A device and a method for heated tool welding. The heated tool welding device has a welding held, which is fixed to an infeed drive for displacing the welding head. The infeed drive is an industrial robot. The welding head is positioned by the industrial robot in a coordinate-controlled manner up to a clearly defined changeover position with respect to the welding point on the body and in a force-controlled manner from the changeover point to the welding point.

  • Patent number: 6444946
Abstract: For joining two faces (41, 42) of thermoplastics in a penetration beam welding method the covered face (42) is multiply scanned and thus incremently heated by a laser beam (10) directed through the covering face (41). This preheating is repeated until the melting temperature is attained. In the region of the covered face (42) a melt thus materializes simultaneously over the full seam length which wets the covering face (41) and thus also transfers this face into melt by heat conduction. On completion of material softening the faces (41, 42) are mutually moved until abutting. Thus the two faces (41, 42) weld in principle as if they had been plasticized simultaneously over the full seam length which significantly enhances the seal and strength of the seam, whilst the expenditure the apparatus is low.
